This builder is unethical and greedy. We purchased a pre construction home from Briarwood (Liarwood) in 2019. Knowing these houses will take time to build we happily accepted this. We were delayed 3 times in closing and were annoyed but again ok with this. June 2022 we were called into their office with little information given as to why they needed to talk to us. At this meeting we were blindsided with 2 options. Walk away with our deposit (no interest or damages offered) or pay 175k more and the will build our house. This meeting was full of coercion and disrespectful. They stated that they lost financing and their senior partner canned the build. They blamed the township for delays (both untrue). We took our contract to our lawyer and the contract is 100 percent binding. This builder seems to think they are above the law and basically threatened us they would delay our build in court for years until we walk away. Beware
