Crappy build.. floors windows doors furnace

Stay away this is a enethical builder. My house is drafty because doors and windows aren't properly fitted. Furnace has died multiple times in the first year because it was never installed properly. Avoid Avoid Avoid is the business philosophy at Briarwood

Unethical

This builder is unethical and greedy. We purchased a pre construction home from Briarwood (Liarwood) in 2019. Knowing these houses will take time to build we happily accepted this. We were delayed 3 times in closing and were annoyed but again ok with this. June 2022 we were called into their office with little information given as to why they needed to talk to us. At this meeting we were blindsided with 2 options. Walk away with our deposit (no interest or damages offered) or pay 175k more and the will build our house. This meeting was full of coercion and disrespectful. They stated that they lost financing and their senior partner canned the build. They blamed the township for delays (both untrue). We took our contract to our lawyer and the contract is 100 percent binding. This builder seems to think they are above the law and basically threatened us they would delay our build in court for years until we walk away. Beware

Trilogy Sutton

Unethical , rude and unprofessional. My wife and I bought a house in sutton trilogy. After 2 years into contract the builder wants to delay delivery and increase price by 20% around 170 K.. When I showed they said they dont care !

Buyer beware

This builder and it's managers, and staff are unreachable. Perry is a nice person, however he doesn't really help when you need a repair. It's always, a song and dance or a lame excuse..this builder uses in experienced trades people, beginners.. sloppy painters and tradesmen. Scratches dings and countless other errors throughout the house. Very shoddy work. We waited over 2 years to move in then over 2 and a half yrs before the grass went down....good luck buyer beware.

We had such a great experience with the whole process and could not be more happy with the house. Accommodating sales team with Svitlana, creative & organized decor appointment with Liana, and a welcoming experience with the after-sales representative, Perry. Looking forward to settling into our new home!

This company does not honour their contracts. Pre construction purchasing should be banned unless builders honour contracts. I understand priced and costs have raised however demanding 30% more or we won’t build is not they way to treat your clients. Not only that Briarwood homes offered no transparency on their increases….NONE!! I do not recommend this builder.

Purchased a home before covid, but nothing is ready. The closing date was delayed a few times but now they are asking for more money. Svetlana, from the office, is very rude and unprofessional. Can't believe this is what we are getting in Canada. And now they say if you can't come up with extra money they will just give you back your deposit....

This builder held our deposit money and delayed the build for the last 6 years. Blamed it on COVID and kept asking for more money to start the build. The representatives of the company we dealt with were rude and unprofessional.
