Shoreham Village has an extremely caring and loving staff... which is worth far more than any amenity. The activities planned by the recreation department are numerous and varied, and they encourage a healthy social and spiritual life, as well as physical and mental well-being. I like visiting there.

Aenon Baptist Church
57 Highway 12, Chester Basin, Nova Scotia, B0J 1K0, Canada
A warm welcome awaits you in this loving, family friendly church. Come just as you are and enjoy a blend of contemporary and traditional music, scripture, prayer and biblical message. As a visitor, you are not obligated to contribute to the weekly offering unless you feel lead to do so.
During the worship service, the church offers a children's program, Inside Out Kids Club, for elementary school aged children (Sept-May) and a nursery for preschool children as required.

Fantastic skate park. It is large enough safely accommodate a lot of kids but we have never encountered more than a couple of other users when we have visited.
