The owner Mike and the manager Dennis are very friendly and helpful. The work that is performed is top notch. While my experience is with a passenger car, it is clear to me that these guys know what they are doing with the diesel and Allison transmission repairs. God forbid I ever need to have the motor home transmission rebuilt, but if I do this will be my first choice.

Last week I brought my baby (an original low mileage Ford F-250 OBS, 7.3) to Callahan Auto & Diesel for a rough idle/intermittent miss diagnosis. Owning muscle cars that can be eaten off underneath, I am extremely meticulous and always concerned about the caliber of technicians working on my automobiles. Frankly, finding people to do that level of work in this day and age is somewhat of a challenge. When using most automotive services, I typically wonder just how dissatisfied I will be in the end and it seems like the less dissatisfied I am, the more acceptable the result. (A terrible way to go into a service provider). That said, I remember years ago there were service providers that from the onset you knew were going to provide a satisfactory service; but finding that today is somewhat of a curious anachronism. Well, though it's almost hard to believe, I found that level of communication, communication and results with Callahan Auto & Diesel. Preston and Mitch are phenomenal communicators that actually look you in the eyes, discuss a strategy and work toward a common goal of rectifying the problem. It was a great experience to realize that this company absolutely acknowledges that the consumer pays their paycheck. I sensed during the entire exchange, their long-term goal was to make sure that I came back and again that is very rare today. I highly recommend that anyone considering automotive or diesel service to at the least, go in talk with them. You'll find the place to be relatively clean and they take the time to help you fully understand what action steps will be taken during the evaluation and rectification of your problem. Further, they are excessively fair in their pricing practices. The bottom line is, again, don't take your vehicle anywhere else until you speak with them. You will find that from the initial call, to the end result, you will be extremely comfortable, and like me, very pleased with the overall experience. I thank the whole team at Callahan and look forward to going back as soon as necessary.

Doug's is the only place I'll take my truck. I have been taking my truck to them for three years now and they have always given very professional service and have gone above and beyond taking care of issues. Doug, Randy and John are great to deal with and make you feel welcome. They are very fair on pricing and reliable. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else and would and will highly recommend to anyone to use Doug's.

Hey everyone just had to to put this out there. My wife and I were in town for my son's baseball game and started noticing our 2011 ford powerstroke acting weird after having a new turbo installed in flagstaff 5 days earlier we felt we needed to have conformation it was OK to drive home to not endure another $4000.00 dollar repair .we called every shop we could find and they were either closed or not willing to stay a little later. That's when I happend to catch Corwin finishing up paperwork and getting ready to head home , I explained my situation and without hesitation he said get it over here . When I arrived I heard him on the phone with the wife about needing to help out some folks and he would be on his way ASAP . He got the truck repaired for an extremely fair amount and sent us on our way . Thank you sun valley and Corwin for going above and beyond the call . and for being kind to people you may never see again from another town . I hope everyone uses you for all there repairs. Amazing service and better people! Truck issues on what was supposed to be a quick trip to AZ and then back home to CO. Chet dove in at 4pm Friday afternoon and didn’t quit until we were back on the road Saturday. Very grateful- thank you!

As for a towing and repair shop, this has got to be the finest group of people you could ever ask for to assist you. From the onset I was made a priority, comfortable, and a part of the entire process. I received first class service all the way across the board... Customer service at its finest.....!!
