Great place to watch my nephew's tball

A great place to play with the kids for a few hours.

There's an awesome little ball park with 6 diamonds from T-ball to full size. Great concession during ball season too. In the winter used for soccer (one full size and one half size field). There's also a lacrosse box, playground, community meeting room and bathrooms. Finally a beautiful forest with lots of hiking and biked trails as well as picnic areas. A real jewel!

Lovely walking path along the ocean.

There are a couple different fenced in baseball diamonds as well as a concession to cater the players and onlookers. There is free parking in a very large paved lot. There are bathrooms beside the concession as well. For kids there is a big playing park away from the diamonds. This is a park that has an abundance of walking room for dogs too. They will not be interferring with the play park or either baseball field. This park also has the Colquitz River Trail running alongside, which gains easy access.

Have been attending events since 1978 at Royal Athletic Park and have never walked away unhappy.The food, drinks and entertainment is always top notch ! A personnal opinion to say the least but that is what I have been asked for. Ha Ha Ha ! It is wheelchair accessible and every seat has it's advantage. It truely is a jewel in the middle of downtown Victoria.

Fireman's park is a little green space, a baseball diamond, a play structure and a small community garden near Bowker Creek and right next to a fire station. It's a place you come if you're part of the community, if you're walking to the ocean along Bowker Creek, if you're there for an event or if you have some kids ready to let off some steam.
