We had our wedding here in April on a glorious sunny day. The guests absolutely loved the views, wrap around balcony, the food, separation of 2 rooms and the amazing DJ skills of Martin. Cherie & Stan were on hand throughout and made sure the timings were all exact. They organised a fantastic Magician for us which the kids absolutely loved. Only hitch was that the taxi Marshall had a long queue of guests waiting for taxi's and didn't flag them down in time during a late night thunder storm! Would definitely use the venue again and highly recommend.

Personal, friendly people, chilled atmosphere. Rosie is an amazing SUP teacher and it's been a great place to discover in London!

Nice view, and model boat regattas on weekends (get there for 11; they often don't last long. Fun to watch, especially for kids and miniature enthusiasts!

Probably the busiest of the ponds that are within the bounds of Epping Forest due to it's ease of access and close proximity to housing, it's also only a few hundred yards away from Whipps Cross Hospital. Surrounded by undulating gravel hillocks this pond is the result of gravel extraction in the past. The pond now provides a very pleasant location for hiring out boats, cycling and walking. Although surrounded by trees it is immediately adjacent to the open grassland of Leyton Flats on one side which can provide sun-seekers an ideal location to catch some rays when the weather is good enough. There are a couple of refreshments sites with seating along Whipps Cross Road and parking near the boat house and further along on the same side. All in all a very pleasant place to spend a few hours albeit a little busy on hot days. If too busy for your liking however you can always wander away from the pond into the woodland which will always provide some quiet places to relax away from the madding crowd...

It is a pond with ducks, geese, and sometimes you can rent a plastic boat. As you would expect, the water is fowl. Boating is hardly a pleasant terribly activity. OK for kids, I guess. Maybe 100 years ago when there was nothing else to do it was "cool" to go boating. Now I think most people have many more interesting activities than spend an hour on Dulwich Park Lake in a boat. The lake itself is very a very pleasant and relaxing pace to casually walk around.

Unique waterside event space with a great bar and friendly staff.

Cute hidden park, plenty of benches to sit down on. Really enjoyed hiding here, in contrast with busier parks nearby.

A very good shop in Greenwhich London with number of gift items related to sea are being sold here in resonable prices, which the tourists can take them to their respective countries as souvenirs. Located near Cutty Sark. Number of city buses are plying from Greenwhich near this shop. Metro train connection is also available.

Very convenient and easy to do. Enjoyed it with my family.

Really pleased with the club so far! My love for Dragon boating wouldn't have been as much if it wasn't for the wonderful members of Typhoon. Never have I felt so much at home whilst being in a sports club. I have met so many interesting and inspirational people in this journey of discovering this niche (yet constantly gaining popularity) water sport. I feel really fortunate to be here; participating in races with this elite team, constantly bringing home trophies and medals!
