Camp Massad
123 Doncaster St, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3N 2B2, Canada
Having gone to Camp Massad for five years (three as a camper and two as a staff member), I have only now come to realize how amazing of a place it truly is. This camp is not just like any regular summer camp, it is a place where Jewish community and culture thrive. Massad grants both its staff and campers the opportunity to solidify their connection to one another and to their Jewish identities. Moreover, Camp Massad is a place where many skills are honed. skills such as, speaking Hebrew, drama, music, and many more. having worked at Camp Massad as a counselor for two years, I am proud to say that what we have here can never be replicated. In my entire life, I have never met a more accepting and loving group of people as our staff. All in all, Camp Massad is possibly one of the greatest places to work at during the summer. Staff members get many benefits working here. For example, the pay is great, you get a place to sleep, you're fed very well, and best of all is the experience. I hope to come and work at Camp Massad for many years to come.

Perfect location for visiting Winnipeg and surrounding area. Numerous shaded back in sights. About 50 pull through sites. Quiet most time. Could use more gravel on the roadways as some mud holes. Some of the pull throughs are quite uneven and again could use more gravel and leveling. Excellent Park why fi was good

International Music Camp

It's hard to describe IMC in a single review, but to call it a life changing place is an understatement. You go there for the first time, for maybe a week, but it digs its creative, collaborative claws into you and makes you yearn to return to its familiar embrace summer after summer. If you're lucky, the itch continues past the formative years, and you end up working there a summer or two. Or six. It's a warm, nuturing environment that helps to stimulate not only creative growth, but personal and social enrichment as well. The friends you make there, you make for life, no matter how long you go without seeing each other. If you're a parent that's on the fence about sending your child to this camp, just give it a go. Just once. I promise your child will be forever grateful for the experience, and will more than likely return to you begging for more.

I have spend a week here for 28 of the last 29 years. Only 2 unpleasant incidents with staff or facilities. The are no other places I've been with a better record.

This camp is so refreshing, you know your dropping your kid off at a camp and not a luxury resort. They can learn survival skills and biking, horse skills. And a whole bunch of other things. My kids love it here!

I grew up going to PRBC, and absolutely had the best time making friends and growing my faith. I have now been bringing my kids, and they love it just as much. Great people, great activities, great lessons - the list goes on!!!
Waldenway Canine & Kitty Camp
Ste. Anne, Manitoba, R5H 1C1, Canada
Waldenway is by far the best boarding facility for your pet! The staff are knowledgable and friendly, facilities are spacious and beautiful. Not to mention their hours of operation are very convenient for busy schedules. One thing that is noticed upon entry is the lack of "dog smell" that seems to linger in other boarding facilities. This place is kept clean!!
The fact that it is in the country allows the dogs to have a tremendous amount of outdoor time (more than what they get at home in my case). I specifically enjoy that they can go outside whenever they like.
My dogs have been going to Waldenway for several years and I always feel that they are in great care. They also always come back happy, tired, and smelling/looking beautiful!! My dogs have used the facilities, shuttle service, as well as the grooming service. Pictured below is one of my dogs after recently being groomed.
I have recommended Waldenway to several family and friends and they have all shared similar experiences!

Camp Arnes

I worked here 8 years ago. I had a medical emergency that took me from camp to the Gimli hospital, and to the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre. A doctor in ER at the Health Sciences Centre was the first person to call my parents.
I was diagnosed with a cerebral blood clot and a brain hemorrhage No one called my parents. I could have died without them even knowing that something was wrong.

Cold and wet day when we camped but would have taken advantage of the river walk if it the weather was better.
Birds Hill Provincial Park Group Use Area 2
, Manitoba, R0E 1J0, Canada
A beautiful place to visit and camp as a group. The tenting area is well maintained but facilities are quite outdated, main meeting area shelter roof leaks and water comes down from the holes in the roof onto the electrical outlets. This is very unsafe. The bathrooms are okay but not well maintained. We arrived Friday and no one cleaned them all weekend long. By Sunday morning there was no toilet paper left and conditions were unsanitary. There are also no mirrors to be had in the bathroom, electrical outlets, no showers. The hand dryer in site did not work either.
