Camp

Campground is very run down, care takers need to actually take care of the place and cut the grass, grade the roads and do something about the low spots that fill with water when it rains, creating a mosquito problem... the playground, or what used to be the playground is a joke. The smoking in the front office is gross and disgusting!!!!! Its way over priced for a run down campground It's a great location but they need to take some pride in the facility and start upgrading it and taking care of it.

I've been a Battleford resident for 24 years. I've been fighting Stage IV cancer for over 5 years now. Being a clinical trial patient in Calgary, my wife & I have been away from home lots. There were times I was unexpectedly detained at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre. The Staff at our Battleford Post Office were so accommodating when I phoned in to tell them I was unable to pick up my mail. Whenever I go in they are all so polite & enquire how I was doing. This type of caring behaviour from our public service officials should be highly commended & seen as a shining example for other depts. to follow. Awesome place for family camping

Have sent our kids here for several years and they always want to go back.

This is a wonderful facility! The couple who runs this place are friendly and work hard to keep this a family friendly atmosphere. Beautiful clean facility. Close to many lakes or relax at the camp for the day.

Great little park.

Beautiful and well kept area, almost 300 acres. Perfect for school groups in the spring and fall (even winter if you want to winter camp or use one of the cabins). Lots of features including fields, hiking trails, zip lining, Rock climbing, a place to play soccer, swing set, bridge with lookout tower, and much more. The North Saskatchewan River flows through the area and they have canoes and other water activities it seems. Top notch staff that interacted very positively with a medium sized school group. Will definitely visit again. Extremely reasonable prices.

Super nice park with sites made private with 3 sides of bushes and trees. No sewer at sites but a dump station on exit. Great for families and groups. Grounds and facilities very well maintained a d office personnel very friendly and helpful.

We are very lucky to have a facility as well ran as this one in our community. Hats off to Nicole and crew for being there for the kids!
