We called Dave the furnace guy to come clean our disgustingly (and embarrassingly) dirty furnace. We have been putting this off too long, mostly because of all the rip off artists out there just scoping out your house.
Well was I pleasantly surprised.
From the time the (what throughout the cleaning process looked like a wacky waving arm inflatable tub man ) truck pulled up in front of our house until it was fading down the driveway, all my expectations were exceeded.
First off, he was extremely punctual . Secondly he was friendly, not scary, as most furnace cleaners can be. He and his assistant were look you in the eye shake your hand kind of people. His young swarthy assistant being just as amazing and polite. They came and checked out all the vents and gave us a quote before they started their work. Great payment options including e transfer!!! Ridiculously convenient!
This goliath of a man, as well as his young handsome assistant not only did NOT rip us off, they gave us tips on how to maintain our furnace better and make air flow in our home more efficient. He even went so far as to compliment my husband on his looks. It made me look at my husband in a whole new way.
The price and time Dave quoted us was 100% accurate. I will be calling these guys again, and looking forward to seeing them!!
