I am a student at miss Barbara's School of Dance and I have leaerned so much! We are treated like family there and everyone is accounted for, this is a great place for kids to learn and have fun. Miss Barbra's is the place to be!

Yuliya is wonderful to work with! She is very professional, friendly, and has a calming presence about her at what can be a stressful time for a person new to dancing. She was always flexible in scheduling my private dance lessons as I have a busy schedule and she did her best to accommodate my time slots. I was nervous when I got to my first meeting but the Fred Astaire staff is very good at making you feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone in the studio takes a moment to stop and say 'hi' each time you come in for a lesson. Even though Yuliya is my instructor, all of the staff have been willing to offer me additional tips on how to improve my dancing technique. I was paired up with an instructor during my introductory session where I was shown multiple dances so I could try to decide which dance would best suite me. After my introductory class I decided that this was a great fit for me. Not only did I get lessons but I was invited to dance parties to practice. There's a great community vibe at Fred Astaire Dance Studio -- everyone is welcome, no one is judged for how little or how much they know, and everyone is encouraged to have fun and just enjoy themselves. They throw great little themed "dance party" nights where people can practice, learn new styles, socialize and have just have fun. I really enjoyed coming here and I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to start dancing, get better, or just be around great people .The overall experience has been enjoyable for a beginner dancer. I would recommend this to anyone that is either a beginner or experienced dancer and looking to learn or tune their dancing skills. Yours, " The Other Left Foot "

I love this dance studio it is a part of who I am and it has made me more confident about my dance and about myself since I started dancing here! I always feel comfortable to tell my peers things that are going on in my life and each and every one of the will try there best to make me feel better!

I am not a dancer, but getting married made me what to be. The lessons have been wonderful and I can't believe I actually look like I know what I am doing. Paula is patient and a wonderful teacher. I can't wait to show everyone my moves the day of the wedding.

Fun track layout, recent renovations are nice. Portapotty's were horrific. Absolutely disgusting. Just awful. For the love of god get them emptied.

Where do I start? I enjoyed every second in this class! Jamie helped me feel more confident about my body than I have in years even before the babies! She makes you feel like it's truly a WOMAN's world and all eyes should be on you because you are enough, you are beautiful and everyone is watching. You have all the POWER! Jamie has such a genuine and beautiful soul! Her positivity is contagious and makes you question all the negativity you or anyone else has placed on you! You go in thinking you're just going to learn how to please/pleasure your partner by dancing seductive, but the experience brings so much more. Each technique, dance and prop used in class made me love myself more, worry less and definitely BURLESQUE more! I'll be back! Jamie was amazing and I would recommend this to any woman as a girls night, private lesson or something to add you your playbook of love! If I could have just an ounce of Jamie's awesomeness, I'd be FINE WINE Honey! Tease, Tension and Touch!!!! Totally worth it!

Tracy’s love of dance of infectious. She is not only an incredible teacher, but her own life long learning journey benefits her students in so many ways. As an adult student who was looking for a tap class to get some exercise and have some fun, I got so much more from dancing with Tracy. I learned dance history, different styles and made good friends. She has a way of making sure everyone in the class is being challenged while making sure you don’t get discouraged as you try new and different things. Tracy is the kind of dance teacher you are lucky to find and never want to let go of once you do! I highly recommend you try her new studio Just Dance in Port Hope.
