Dance Studio

I would like to dance here and I'm going to start

Fantastic staff and friendly service!!

For 15+ years my daughter had an amazing experience dancing at DDH. DDH has inspiring instructors that have shared with her the fundamentals in technique, their love and expertise of dance, creativity and true caring for their students. We could not have asked for stronger positive role models that truly cared for our daughter. DDH is not only a dance studio, but a place where my daughter made lifelong friendships, learned beautiful artistic discipline, responsibility, commitment, creativity and self-confidence. We will be eternally grateful for DDH. Without hesitation I would recommend DDH.

When my daughter was two she started with Expression Dance Studio and have learned a variety of different dance styles. I first put her in dance to learn the basics but then she grew a love for dance and a love for her teacher. Sabrina is like a second mother to my daughter and have provided her important life lessons. Being with the studio for 8 years now, the studio has grown much like my daughter. The variety of different dance styles that are offered is phenomenal especially living in small town Iowa. Currently my daughter dances 4 days a week and was asked to be on the competitive trio team. Since the start of this team, I have been able to see the enormous talent Sabrina consumes. Sabrina knows each dancers ability as well as limitations but she is able to push the envelope to provide excellent results. I can’t say enough outstanding words to express how working with this studio has changed our lives and my daughter looks forward to dancing every day. I highly recommend Expression Dance Studio!

Surprised not to see more glowing stars next to this dance venue. Its a studio for learning any and every dance at any level, not a club. Yet it's open 6 days a week 8 hours a day w a great staff of personable talented instructors. Several party evenings and events every week. Great place to get started and keep going.

I was a guest at the 2015 Nutcracker and I must say I was beyond impressed. The professionalism, choreography, and creativity in involving all levels of dancers was impressive. If you have a child interested in dance, this place is clearly the best in Grand Rapids.

Janet Baker, the owner is African American, so it would seem that your suspicion is unfounded.

My daughter attends the Dance Stories II class and absolutely loves it. She has been at Arts in Motion for two years now and is so taken with her experience that she asked me to guarantee that she could continue for years to come;) We appreciate both the teachers and organizers at Arts In Motion for they have created an environment where learning and enjoying dance are one and the same.

Some of the best teachers who really care about you learning the style of dance you are there for whether your an adult or child dancer. Plus you can take great exercise classes here as well.
