Good drinks great service

This is an updated review. A couple years ago, I had a less than stellar experience in my only visit to this store and had not returned until I was perusing the catalogue of an upcoming charity auction and noticed that Liquor N Wine had donated several bottles of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon to the auction which benefitted CASA Kane County, an organization which advocates for abused and neglected children. There are multiple Liquor N Wine locations and I was curious if this one had donated it. So, I set aside my previous pledge never to shop there again and went to the store. I learned that, yes, this was the store that had made the donation and that the owner regularly supports that organization in multiple ways. Here's what else I learned. They have a very nice selection of craft beers. Prices were fairly typical for the area. Their selection of whiskeys is quite nice for a store of this size. What was truly special, though, was that as I was browsing the whiskey aisle, one of the employees asked if he could assist. He mentioned that for many whiskeys, they have samples available to taste. I tried four or five samples and left with two nice bottles. I also saved a fair amount by not buying bottles which intrigued me, but which weren't to my taste. My thanks to Liquor 'n' Wine for supporting the work of CASA Kane County. While that donation got me to return to the store, it was a very positive shopping experience that will have me coming back.

Great service and very friendly

We come here a lot and the service is very welcoming. We site on the patio and bring our dog Winston that everyone know. Food is real good. Never had something we didn’t like. Prices are reasonable. The 29er is our favorite go to drink.

This place has a great staff! We were liking for a specific beverage that was not on the shelf. The owner took the time to look in the back and search inventory.

Captain Morgan long Island iced tea, yum. Absolute vodka for screwdrivers, yum. And the price was bad for the alcohol either, yum. Very satisfied.

For a small store, they have a good selection of beer and wine. Employee was masked and the cashier area had a partition for safety. Good place to pick up alcohol that isn't crowded.

Good selection good price also good service

This was by far my favorite distillery I’ve been to. It has so much history and the Trace Tour was amazing. There was a lot of people that showed up to just buy bottles so get here early if that’s what you want. They do allow the people on tours in first so that is a good way to get in but reservations usually have to be made a month in advance because they fill up quick
