Such a great concept, location, and vibe! Everything is from the farm and distilled on site. They have inside and outside seating as well as a rotating food truck on site. You can also BYO food of choice. It's a must visit!

Great customer service

We have shopped here for many years and love that it is black owned and run. They have a wide selection of wines and Liquors, the staff are friendly, patient and knowledgeable. During the pandemic we would order their delivery service which is so convenient, speedy and,without any exorbitant surcharges. The delivery person is again very friendly as well as courteous.

I've been going to this liquor store for the last 15 years and never had a problem it's a great place to play your lottery learn about wines beers and all kinds of different drinks it's a very very nice place and I have nothing to say but good things about the staff very knowledgeable and very helpful so when you get a chance check them out I recommend it....

Fast, friendly service

Big time drinks and a cozy environment. The best place to get a really good drink and enjoy live music. The staff is great, the drinks are creative and the booze is local!

Alot of zombies outside. Quick service. No tax. The price is the price (yes). Variety of wines( my fav). Will be back soon.

Unbeatable craft beer selection. Noteworthy is the amount of Twelve Percent Beer Project stuff (fat orange cat, abomination, skygazer) they have which is really hard to find in Stamford and, for my money, some of the best microbrews in the northeast.

The atmosphere is really nice and cozy, the decor is cool, and the food never disappoints. I used to come here a lot couple of years ago but yesterday was my first time back in a while. Everything is as I remember. The menu is on the smaller side but it offers all kinds of goodness. We got the carved board with the burned ends (the best item on the menu!), brisket (falling apart and super juicy), and the pork belly (tasty but a bit crispy for my taste). We also ordered a side of french fries (fresh cut and amazing) and the house slaw (no twist, just regular coleslaw but made to perfection). We also ordered two cocktails- the cucumber refresher (was very refreshing indeed but no alcohol to it at all) and the blood red sangria (which was pretty good). The three of us split everything and we left happy and with full bellies. Definitely will be coming back!

Great Store! The selection is quite good and so are the prices. The Knickerbocker Experience makes it all the better. It's worth the walk.

Lot of places don't normally have such a variety of ciders to choose from but this one came through! Got a really good one recommended to me by the staff. No complaints!

Counter guy was a huge help. Fast service and plenty to choose from. A tad pricey though. He was able to tell exactly what I needed and offered me different sizes to choose from. Great service!

Having experienced Tamura Super Market in Honolulu and diverse wine shops in San Francisco, Sonoma, and Temecula, I can delightfully share that the best destination in DC for wine (and spirits) is CW. Customers going on 5+ years, we are always happy with their selection and recommendations. Regardless of our budget, we are treated with courtesy and respect. And their management under the pandemic demonstrated great care for their employees while keeping customers informed of operating changes that best served their purchasing needs. From the parking lot attendant to the knowledgeable wine experts to the awesome deli team to the "bourbon man," we are never disappointed. Cheers to everyone at CW!
