Hired him to do residential work adding outlets. First of all he doubled his first quoted price. I payed with a check. When he left the electric did not work. He came back the next day and got the electric working after he cashed the check. The outlets did not have covers. He said he was out of stock and would return to put them on. Bad news hire someone else....

I needed electric work done for my old house. I did not want to try Gene's Electricbecause I thought it might be to expensive. I hired two local small independent contractors - They were triple the price of Genes and did poor work. Gene came just a couple of days after I called and did the excellent work

I hired Popkin Electric because I had to redo the work of a cheaper company that I found in the pennysaver. The salesman was nice but when the worker showed up 2 hours late and he looked very "Unprofessional and inexperienced" . The wiring was ugly and not "Clean looking or neat" When the inspector came over to inspect the wiring he made me redo some of the work because he said they used plastic boxes which were not Ground properly. (Code in Huntington is a Metal Box) When Popkin came over they redid all of the work . It was a night and day difference from the other company. The work looks neat and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
