Al is a very friendly, dependable electrician. We've used him several times and his work is always top notch and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Charged me over $500 to install 3 light fixures and a switch. I found out they were charging me by the hour as they drove to my address (which is in centre of the city). When I complained they dropped the price $100, but they acted pissed off with me. They are a big unfriendly company with large overhead who do a lot of big jobs and have high prices when it comes to residential work. After that bad experience, I've found Uncle Al's Electric and he's been extremely friendly, professional, and well priced. If you're doing residential work, I'd steer clear of Northern Electric.

Great place to work

We were renovating our store at Pine Centre Mall and Shane from Houle came into do the work. He was very professional, courteous and explained everything that he was going to do. His work was excellent and we would certainly hire them again.

Boy oh boy, did MWatt Electric ever save my bacon. Just imagine, Halloween night and all the front yard lights mysteriously shut off. We thought that we would make it as safe as we could for the trick-or-treaters and hope that we could find someone who would show up to fix the problem tomorrow or the next day. Just the week before, I had met the owner of this company, so I thought that I would get in touch and give them a try as I was not 100% satisfied with the last electrical outfit that I had hired. To my surprise, someone answered the phone, and not only that, he advised me that he was in the area and would be right over. The owner of MWatt showed up, swapped out the light switch and was gone in about 8 minutes. It was a thing of beauty. Because of that one selfless act, Mwatt in my new go-to for all my electrician needs, and when anyone asks me about a good “Sparky” I’m going to tell them “Just call MWatt Electric!
