Normally people post reviews for work done, but in this particular case I am posting a review for work that was commit to be done, but last minute turned down. I was referred to this company by a business acquaintance located in Toronto. I called the company and proceeded to make a deal for a garage door opener to be installed. There was not haggling over price of item or service, however their issue was the entry to the building to open the garage door as the man door was blocked. I told them that we can either break a window or I would have someone go to the property and break into my building or shop and gain access to the work on the garage door. All settled, I just needed to get the size of the door to order the correct parts. I took day off on Friday measured the door as agreed and called their office 3 times, left messages with no response. Finally after insisting on waiting on line for some time an employee named Jason came on the phone and said after discussion with Ross (owner I presume) they did not want the job after all. My issue with Canadoor is that I took the day off work, traveled 126 k/m's to measure the door, price agreed, installation set for Monday Nov 6th and in the afternoon of Friday they changed their mind. In essence this is a company that wasted and delayed a week where I could have contracted another local merchant. A company that does not have the back bone to follow through with the commitments or does not have the courage to let you know the change of plans and has wasted my time is not worthy of my business. I would give them a 0 star rating, but of course that is not an option. I will never do business with this company, those considering may want to re-think their decision or involvement

It was our first time calling for garage door repair, and we feel very thankful that we decided to choose Newmarket Garage Door Repair. Our door made a loud bang the other day and hasn’t been working since then. The repairman, Dean, was an expert on residential garage doors and knew that it was our spring that’s the issue.

The tension spring on my garage door snapped a few weeks ago. I called Newmarket Garage Door, and they came quickly, and completed the repairs fast, properly and with no fuss. Prices were reasonable and their employees were pleasant to work with. Definitely would recommend if any of my friends needed work on their garage doors.

Thankfully, Garage Door Repair Team Stouffville offers reprogramming at affordable rates, saving me some money as compared to bringing the remote to the store. The Garage doors that we chose are beautiful & add a lot of Street appeal to our house. Laurie the Sales Rep is very knowledgeable .He advised us & helped choose the right doors for us. Shawn the installer was very professional & extremely careful. He cleaned up everything prior to leaving & showed us how to maintain the doors . Our overhead garage door was jammed and I couldn’t figure out the cause of the congestion so I was pressed to call Richmond Hill Garage Door Repair Team. It turned out that it was caused by worn out pulleys. He was able to mend the damage in less than an hour but he mentioned that if the same thing happens again, he has to replace the pulleys with a new one. Their service is inexpensive too!

Quick service. Knowledgeable. Joe was the most reasonable than the 3 other quotes I received. I highly recommend Joe. You won't do better. Tom

Universal Garage Door Repair Woodbridge is a company that cares about the people they serve. I had them install a new set of extension springs and they did a wonderful job. The tech showed up on time and discussed the job with us. He answered our questions and then quickly installed our new products. I could not be more thrilled with the garage door service they provided.

BUYERS BEWARE! Here is my story. Let me start by saying I have tried to resolve this issue on five (5) separate occasions before I posted my thoughts here. Sept. 16 2017: I came into Barmac and was treated very well by the sales staff at which point I purchased a garage door that was set to go into production on Oct. 3 2017. I received a install date of Oct. 20 2017. Oct 17: I called to ensure my scheduled appointment was confirmed, at which point I was informed that there is a delay in the production of the door and it will now be Nov. 19 when the door will be ready. I accepted as I am aware that this can happen sometimes. Nov 17 2017: I called to make sure my door was going to be ready and to ensure I take the day off to have the door installed. I received information that this date is no longer in place as there is more of a delay and that it will be the end of December. Dec. 9 2017: I call again to get an update and at this point I am being treated like I am a bother to them. I am now informed that my order is not even placed and at this point they can no longer give me a set date for an install. I was leaving on vacation so I said I would call back when I got home. Dec. 14 2017: I called to see if there is any update. No update. Still not date being offered. I asked the sales rep to speak to management to offer me a solution to this. Maybe upgrade me to a door that is in stock. I am told I would receive a call back the next day with information. Dec 17 2017: Still haven't heard back from Barmac so I decide to call them. I am told they will have an answer for me on Monday. Dec. 19 2017 (Tuesday): Did not hear back from Barmac on the Monday. My calls are now going unanswered. Still not word on when or if I will be getting a garage door that I ordered and paid for three months prior! This is a very unprofessional business with terrible customer service. Once my order was placed I was no longer a priority or a concern of theirs. I became just a bother to them. I am expecting a resolution to this but am not holding my breath at this point. There are many other garage door companies that will treat you like a real person and a real customer. Your time is not valued here. Very disappointing.

Quick and helpful! My garage door spring snapped and I emailed them the night of. In the morning I get an email saying that they are available to help. I called them, told them it was a double garage door, and the lady on the phone (I didn't get her name), said that she has someone in the area who can help. 30 minutes later, I get a knock on my door. He tells me (again, I didn't get a name), it will take him 30 minutes or so. Very responsive and made my day go so much more smoother! Great job!

Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and service. Would not recommend company. Customers are not a priority. Little to no communication from the company. Two months of chasing after the company, which resulted in a cancelled order. Nothing but frustration throughout the entire process.

I needed a garage door spring replacement a few months ago, so I called up Certified Garage Door Repair Thornhill to do the job. We agreed on a date that the repair would be done, and indeed it was done on that time and date. Efficient and prompt service is what sold me to them.
