Garage Door

L.! @

I've used this service twice now and have been completely pleased. The last time when my garage door opener was broken. Received a call back very quickly and had the service guy (Jim) at my house the very next day. Excellent reliable and professional service. I couldn't be happier with them. A great example of "small town" values.

Best service you could hope for, last minute call in with issue and the staff is at my door before they close for the day, even stay after closing hour to ensure issues are resolved. No one else will be looking after my garage door as long as this company is in business!

Brian installed a garage door opener at my mom's place and so when we needed service on our garage door we called Peterborough Garage Doors. Within the hour Brian arrived, replaced a broken cable and had our door working again. We couldn't have asked for better service.

Pickering Garage Door Repair Team installed our garage door and opener too. They provided unparalleled garage door service that was reliable and it was completed on time. We were impressed at how professional they were. Our door and opener are now functioning properly as expected. They deserve five stars for their exceptional work.

We hadn't worked with Neilson Garage Door Repair before that time, and actually came across an ad of the company when we were looking for a local technician to fix our cable. It had come off the drum and we wanted a quick fix as soon as possible. We were more than impressed from the fast assistance of the tech. He was actually here faster than we thought he'd be and fully equipped to put the garage door cable back in the drum and check the door's movement and balance. He was experienced, quick, prompt and courteous.

Extremely poor customer service. People who work for the company are dishonest and unprofessional. I signed the contract to install the garage door in the end of June, 2017. The installer from the company came to install the door in a week. Garage door consist of 4 panels. When he unloaded all of them, I noticed that 3 panels were damaged. They had several big dents. Only one panel was normal. The installer called the company and was taking to them Chinese, as he was Chinese and owner of the company is Chinese. When he hangs up he told me that owner of the company told him to tell me that it’s normal that panels are damaged. The installer said “I can’t give incorrect info to you as you see one panel is normal”. He said that next time he will check the panels and bring normal ones. It means, they don’t even check panels, before bring to customers. I called company myself, the guy I spoke to, didn’t apologize, he was saying “We cannot meet your expectations”. I told him that I have a normal expectations and would like to have not damaged door. But he said: “What do you expect for the money you pay?” Garage doors are not cheap. It is very bad dishonest company, who make poor quality products. Stay away from this company.

My garage door spring and cables broke. I found Dortech based on it's good Yelp review. I called Friday evening and Sal picked up right away. He told me what the job would cost, how long it would take and said if it was not an emergency he could come at noon on Sunday. This worked for me so I moved forward. I had some follow up questions via text and Sal was very responsive. He showed up exactly on time, completed the job at what I thought was a fair price, did the work in the time he said it would take, was neat and professional in his work, explained what needed to be done and accepted Visa as payment. The service was exactly what I was looking for and I would highly recommend Sal to anyone looking for garage door repair.

Good service.
