Golf

Good for kids and learning but not much else. Course is in bad shape and greens are never cleared of leaves etc. No driving range or grass putting greens. Carlos the PGA instructor is great though so if you're looking to learn how to swing, he's the cheapest I've found in the in the area and does 'on-course' sessions vs. just at the range.

The place is night and day from just a year ago. The new owners seem dedicated to put money into this great challenging nine hole course and make it the best in Shasta County. You will use every club in your bag, not like most nine hole courses.

I was at scholl canyon golf course last week, a guy came up to us claiming that he is an employee of American Golf Corporation and accused us to be at fault with other players on the course. He didn't even ask us any questions regarding to the incident that just happened and draw his conclusions immediately. This made us feel that his judgement is biased. He is also unprofessional by not having his name tag on when he approached us.

I had a wonderful experience learning golf with GolfTec and would like to recommend it to all. I liked it so well that I bought a lesson plan for my son for Christmas. Unfortunately, no matter how much I pleaded, he just was not interested in the lesson. GolfTec was nice enough to refund the money for the gift certificate and I gave the cash to my son. Thanks GolfTec manager for understanding and making my son happy!

Nice club but their events are horrible. Way to many people & they don't know how to disperse everyone in a manageable way. My kids have almost been trample twice there. Golf is good though so stay on the course & you'll have a great time.

This is a great place to practice the owner Maurice is very helpful. I come here on my way home and hit for 1 hour sometimes 30 minutes. I get better feedback from here than hitting at a golf driving range.

Wonderful room with an amazing amount of things to do! We brought our two dogs and they loved the fireplace in our room. The sauna is a great temperature and so is the hot tub. The coffee they provide in the room is also way better than most hotels i have been to. The views are amazing from the Alder house! Beautiful room.

Nice golf course. Almost always good weather and reasonable green fees.

Staff is very helpful and down to earth. Had a defective set of M2s that i was playing with for almost a year, and they were able to have Taylormade send me a brand new set of M4s. Those have had a couple issues with the head coming unglued and they have always fixed them on the spot free of charge!
