I am a 67 year old retired guy. I started playing golf again about 5 years ago, after a 15 year hiatus. Today I finally broke 80, shooting an 8-under 79 at Bonita Golf Course, something I was unsure I would ever achieve. Justin Hicks' instruction over the past few years is how I finally reached this goal. When I first went to Justin I was stuck in the 90s and floundering. He took me in directions I wasn't always sure I could go, but I knew I wasn't going to improve doing the same things I'd been doing. I chose Justin in part because he is routinely rated as one of the best teaching pros in California. I sure agree with that. He has a great eye for swing faults and always has cures that work and are within my abilities. And if that's not enough, he is also a truly descent, nice guy. If you are looking for a great golf instructor in San Diego, go see Justin. Your money will be far better spent than buying that new driver or putter you hope will make all the difference. They won't. Justin will.

I attended 3 clinics which were virtually private lessons. He is as good as it gets. Very plain language, no exotic practice techniques but he does have a superb teaching tool I've never seen anywhere else and it works well to shape your swing. 100% recommended for any skill level.

Our experience with Skip has been nothing short of fantastic, especially for my son. From the very first lesson, it was evident that Skip has a natural gift for working with young golfers. My son has shown tremendous improvement under Skip's guidance. He has a remarkable ability to connect with kids, making the learning process not only effective but also a lot of fun. Skip brings a perfect blend of expertise and enthusiasm to each session. What stands out the most is Skip's patience and understanding of children's learning styles. He breaks down the fundamentals of the game into digestible and engaging lessons, keeping my son excited about coming back for more. Communication is key when working with kids, and Skip excels in creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere. He provides constructive feedback that motivates my son to keep refining his skills. We've seen a remarkable growth in my son's confidence and enjoyment of the game, thanks to Skip. As a parent, I highly recommend
