Pope's Grove Golf Course

The Grove is fun, it's trendy, great for people watching, eating, strolling around, being entertained, and of course shopping. We usually come here and go straight to the American Girl Store, eat, then go home. Today we also enjoyed the Farmers Market and the complimentary double decker bus ride from one end of the Grove to the other. Total travel time maybe 5 minutes. It was super fun though!!!

The building is pretty dated, but I found the friendliest bar tender/waitress when I went in search of water. I was only at the club with the high school golf team. I did not golf.

Visited my daughter from California last year, she's also from there. I have the golf bug. Those who play know what I mean. Wherever you are always looking for a course. The citizens of Marysville have a Jewell right in their back yard. Great walking course for all who love to walk. Is there any other way to play. The greens are just the right size which would require a good shot to get on. Looking forward to play again when I return. Can't wait, and of course to visit my daughter

Was having a great day golfing when some guy drove up to us at the 16 hole claiming to be the Marshall (off duty). We had out carts park to close to the green. (cool, we parked 10 feet away from the green). If he would have just asked us not to park so close then I would have said sorry and that would have been the end. I stead, he said "what are you guys doing? If you we handicap with a broken leg then I still wouldn't let you park that close to the green, use your brains". Been golfing here for years and have never encountered someone here this rude.
