What a wonderful pleasure to have hired Greenwave Construction to do our renovations. There was a lot to be done and it was fantastic when it all came together. What started as a kitchen reno, front siding and landscaping turned into a lot more with the reno of our deck; which added a great outside living space and carport. Although 4 months was a lot for us, in the end it was a complete transformation and hard to believe we live in the same home we bought 8 months ago. Dave was great to work with. We could not have asked for anything better out of a contractor. Fantastic Job. We highly recommend Greenwave Construction

I love my home. It is very comfortable and quite. A few cosmetic issues and concerns were dealt within a reasonable time frame. The Freeport Staff are friendly and the actual Freeport product is very good. A great community environment, neighbours are very friendly, and the grounds are well maintained. Kim the Resident Deficiency Expert does an excellent job but needs the right type of people to assist her in making this complex a better one. Completion date delays seem to be a norm. Freeport needs to address this. The majority of problems lie with the sub trades they hire. Freeport needs to do a better job screening new trade staff to ensure they are qualified to do the work properly. Also a Quality Manager/Inspector should be in place to check each phase of the build to ensure everything is done correctly before continuing on to the next level. The most cost effective way is to do the job "right the first time".

AVOID this company. The pictures they show are of homes built while the company was called "Karoleena" and they did business in Alberta and British Columbia, Canada. These were Dream Homes turned NIGHTMARE. I know too many of their owners who wasted too much money and tears on Karoleena projects, myself included. MOST of us who had homes built by this company are still trying to get fixes done. For example, our home in British Columbia was to be completed in June 2016 and the reparations have STILL not been completed. Granted, Karoleena sold out to Horizon North, (because Karoleena was so underwater with all their mistakes) so the latter was left holding Karoleena's very expensive bag of very unhappy customers. To try and ensure that our home was properly attended to, I literally wrote a book of deficiencies that was 200 pages long. Just a FEW of Karoleena (Kurt Goodjohn's) failures, deficiencies on our VERY over-priced home include.... 1) Digging the foundation too deep (we live on a lake) and creating a swimming pool which needed TONS of rock fill to fix before building could commence, despite the fact that they were warned. 2) A heating system that was improperly sized and had to be completely replaced, despite the fact that my husband is an HVAC expert and Karoleena refused to listen to his concerns. 3) Failure to bolt the modules together because they couldn't make the drywall fit. I ONLY found out about this because one of the workers told me that happened. The fix included welding the beams INSIDE a finished house - i.e. drywall ripped apart, fire concerns, appalling smell, new drywall, new paint, and many days out of our lives. When I complained about the lies and failures, Kurt and his team threatened to simply stop the project. These are bad actors. BTW, Kurt's MO is Trumpian... use other peoples' money to make money and if the project doesn't work... walk away and leave the buyer's/funders with no recourse. Please feel free to contact me. My husband and I have purchased two homes from Accent Homes. This company cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to satisfy all the demands that come with purchasing a new home.
