I recently was referred to Max Shiffman regarding a complicated real estate transaction. I found him to be very thorough, upfront and knowledgeable during the whole transaction. I very much appreciated his candour and professionalism. Max is very responsive and made himself available to all my questions at any time. In May of 2017 my dad had two strokes... this changed everything. I started wondering about my own mortality and what would happen if I needed someone to make health or financial decisions. A Will was always on the to-do list, this would include a Power of Attorney so I could rest knowing the person(s) I choose will be able to speak for me. Max Shiffman was fabulous - he walked me through the process, worked by email when I needed it and he made the very sad process of planning for my premature death a professional and compassionate event. I dealt with lawyer Michael Pass. He was extremely patient with my 1000 emails . He is caring and immediately understood the complex situation . I felt relieved and in a stronger position afterwards.

Bill is the best Lawyer in town. I would recommend him to anyone but my worse enemies (you get your own damn lawyers)

I've been going to Don since the late 70's through my fathers associations. Don is comical in a sense, direct and to the point. Very interested in his clients. Glad to see he is still practising past the point of retirement.
