I used Ms. Ross for separation purposes. Although the initial interview was positive it quickly became aware that Ms. Ross was inexperienced or incompetent in her duties. With every meeting she increased the amount of money that she thought I should pay to my ex and continually made excuses for mistakes she was making. I was initially surprised when my ex's lawyer contacted me herself to discuss the case, but ended up negotiating my own case directly with his lawyer. Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse I contacted my ex's lawyer to see where my separation agreement was since we had both signed weeks ago. I turned out that my lawyer had my copy and instead of contacting me to give me my copy she put my copy in storage. My ex's lawyer made arrangements for me to pick up my own copy with my lawyer and yet again Ms. Ross made excuses as to her incompetence.

Alison is very patient, a good communicator and broadly knowledgeable in the areas of law most people would wish her to be knowledgeable in. I can't speak to her understanding of personal injury, immigration or corporate law, because those were not areas we discussed. But for my small business and family needs, she was perfect. She is very personable and has a great manner. I have happily recommended her to personal friends and would do so again.

Friendly staff and good value for money. Was charged $35 for a certified copy instead of $100 at SMM LAW!!

Anytime a client of mine has had to use this law office they have received excellent service and advice!
