We had used Kearns and co a couple times prior but after this event I think he should try a different business. We arrived for our appointment Liam was nowhere to be found and was 20 mins late. He then asked us to fill out a Kearns and co paper directed at our mortgage company as to where we work etc. I said they have all that info and we already signed off on it online. Liam then says if you’re going to talk to me that way I will throw you out of my office. I repeated what I said and he said I’ve had a rough day and don’t need this shit get out of my office he then stormed out of the room. The most unprofessional act that I have ever seen in 53 years and I will be reporting him to the BC Bar association as that’s the farthest thing from professional

Hi there Family Law is not where it should be granted. The courts system in Canada is very poor to say the least. When I hired the firm in 2015 I retained Mr Groves as the attorney. I spent $35000 in fees only to find out Mr. Groves had added the word “Suspended” to my Divorce agreement. Well I did not realize that even after hiring Mr. Michael Long from the same firm in 2017 to amend this error which stops regular access for my children I was unsuccessful. I have even approached Mr. Groves with regards to this matter with very little sympathy. I would not be happy recommending this Law Firm to anyone for any services. Regards Kumar

This lawyer lies about being collaborative. She is all about money, and not about finding solutions for separating families. She charged an exuberant fee for her failed attempt to deny parental rights. But the Courts of Canada are fair, thank goodness or else my children would have suffered more damage because of lawyers who don't care.

Terrible Lawyer. Crooked and Shady. Invoiced and sent reminder emails for payment FOR SERVICES HE NEVER ENDED UP PROVIDING! We had to ask him to revise the invoice. He was hoping we wouldn't notice. He was paid in full for the service he did provide and then DID NOT release the documents that were paid for. Would NOT recommend. Stay away and find someone else. In conclusion, paid for documents which he kept. We are 90% sure they were never even done.
