David Goodaire is honest, ethical and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand us and our needs, and even did a home visit when one of our parents was invalid. We have been to David for three versions of Wills (soon four) and three real estate transactions. I can't imagine going elsewhere.

Very unorganized, had my mortgage paperwork sent to their office over a week ago. I got a call from Linda on the day of closing to tell me they haven't even started and need another week. No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere

I have used this firm for the past 6 years to act on my behalf for my family law matters. They have dealt with my matters very professionally. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone in need of legal advice or representation.

I have been referring many of my clients to this office for purchase and refinance mortgages legal work for years and have not encountered a problem to date. I trust Brian and his team to deliver professional and accurate service. Recently, the thoroughness at this office caught, what could have been , a costly error on a refinance transaction. I went to see Annesa O'Brien in regards to sponsorship. I have to say i was extremely dissapointed. She is a very friendly lady and the initial consultation is free of charge. However she was in no shape or form competent in this matter. The answers she gave me were wrong (i went to a 2 other lawyers). She said her flat fees were $6500 plus HST!!!... on top of the application fee by the government of Canada. I'm sure she's a great lawyer but her specialty is definitely not immigration.

I needed an injury lawyer because i had a really bad slip and fall accident in a store here and broke my ankle. These guys were good about explaining everything. I don't really understand why they are bigger and an old firm but charged less than a newer firm guy that did a lot of ads...I did meet with a few of them before choosing a personal injury lawyer. They kept me updated and I liked that they always said "your the boss" and gave me advice but let me make decisions after meeting and chatting. Nice people, there is just a certain straight forward honesty to some people and this guy had it.

The attention to detail is unsurpassed. This firm treats you like a person, and they have empathy for your situation. I have never before seen such attention to detail.

My fiancé and I retained the services of Rapport corporation in early 2018. Mr Rapport was quick to accept a $5000 retainer and asked for detailed documentation regarding the status of the case. He was provided with an extensive chronology of events to prepare for an upcoming case conference. Leading up to the case conference each meeting was met with being talked down to and most often interrupted mid sentence with " I don't care about that" and " do you know I have a psychology degree?" We were advised that he is only prepared to deal with the custody portion of the case at this point " A few days prior to the case conference we received another text msg from Mr. Rapport asking us to once again defend the issues specifically addressed in the respondents disclosure. Leading us to believe that he has not done any work on our file whatsoever!! The night before the case conference my fiancé messaged him to ascertain further details and expectations before walking into court the following morning. Trying to understand if Mr Rapport was in fact willing to represent our issues to the court. He simply received a reply telling him where to be, and at what time. When my fiancé got to court he was advised by Mr Rapport in an interview room that he will not be seeing his children!! (This isn't a case where the man doesn't deserve to see his kids ) as expected, the emotion ran high and Mr Rapport advised my fiancé that he isn't a good witness in his current state and cunningly stated " do you think you can do a better job than me in there?" They proceed to court, and Mr Rapport purposely put my fiancé in the hot seat in front of the court. " go ahead,, tell the judge what you have to say" Not knowing the scope of being permitted to speak my fiancé calmly addressed the court but was limited in his evidence before the Court expecting Mr Rapport to jump in and represent him as he was paid to do. This didn't happen,, he sat there not challenging a single request from opposing counsel. Not once standing up for his own clients best interest. My fiancé under duress was advised of a few conditions that are on consent that he felt strongly against and about as the only evidence that was taken into account was from the respondent. After leaving court Mr Rapport was not looking to engage with my fiancé to further discuss the outcome and ramifications. He blew him off and said he'd be in contact with us. Since that time we have attempted on several occasions and several means to get in touch with Mr Rapport and have had no success!!! 5 days later we received an email from Max Rapport stating that he is removing himself as counsel citing the cause that fiancé didn't listen to his instructions. Not only did we listen to his advice, we sat quietly as he caused further damage to our case. At one point he suggested a reconciliation counselor for us and the children that he knew was up on criminal charges of sexual assault!! He not only robbed us of $4000k,, he has now created a bigger mess for us to unravel and deal with, he also washed his hands of all this leaving us to deal with the further damage of addressing the most important part of this case.. Access to the children and securing further parental alienation from the other party. This is absolutely criminal and the law society of upper Canada will be receiving a formal complaint. As with other negative reviews,, we are certain Mr Rapport will deny having myself or my fiancé on record as a client. Probably the dirtiest of lawyers we have had to deal with.

Best lawyers I've ever dealt with.

Such a wonderful legal clinic . They go to bats for their clients and they don't discriminate or talk down to you. They even offer legal advice for matters you had considered before. One the best legal offices in town

Never get this lawyer. You will loose your battle. She doesn't speak up in court she sits there doesn't defend her clients. Her clients have to speak up for themselves and try and defend themselves in front of the judge. You call the office never get a call back. You never get a straight answer from her. Most often there door is locked at the office. She looses most of the paperwork. Her filing cabinet for her clients files are everywhere in her office on the floor. She tells you what you wanna hear but doesn't give any advice. The secretary answers the phone but doesn't relay the message to her. Horrible lawyer you pay for nothing and then you get a bill when you fire her after your paid up to date. She's only in it for the money you'll never win a case with her.
