Great service

Did my co op here great place great people to deal with too

I always enjoy my visits to this store for one reason......customer service!

Easy to park in this lot at the front of the store. Pleasant staff, good selection of hardware, good selection of lumber and finishing materials.

The worst lumber I've ever seen , in my life . I'm a carpender , for 35 years and have never seen such poor lumber ,in my life . The pile of 2×10s I went through today , after beating them apart with a sledge hammer, should be put in the garbage . Why does Irving keep sending garbage to Miramichi ? That stuff would not pass code , so is actually " NOT LEAGLE " as in AGAINST THE LAW . I feel bad for the workers there because they are trying to surve people but have nothing but junk to deal with . Come on Irving !!!! Smartin Up ! The one star I gave is for the staff , because they are very good . Very polite and helpful .I'll go back for stuff inside the store but not for lumber .

Great staff ...

Great staff.allways helpful. Good selection of building supplies. Fair prices.

I worked with Carrie to select light fixtures for my new house. She knew that I was trying to stay within a tight budget, and had many suggestions to make in assisting me with my choices. She was professional and courteous. Their team went to the house to measure and she followed up to make changes to improve those choices. When some items were missing crystals or bulbs, they promptly addressed those to help the entire experience easier for me. I highly recommend Carrie and Lee Lighting.

I highly recommend working with Modern Lighting. My experience working with them felt like I was in a small town where everyone knows and trusts everyone. I've been looking for a new light for my kitchen for quite some time. I stopped in Modern Lighting and was greeted by Cathy. I showed her photos of my room and she immediately suggested a couple of options both of which I really liked. They had a sample of one of the lights that they allowed me to bring home and see if it would work in my kitchen. Their process was so easy and convenient and I love my new light. The price point was great too!

Plenty of lighting options, including chandeliers, sconces, pendants, flush mount and more. They also have outdoor lighting available. Very unique pieces, but definitely on the spendy side. Some chandeliers are upwards of $20,000 (you read that right) for hand cut crystal pieces and a huge chandelier that extends for over 8 feet. On the other hand, the cheapest pieces are around $100 for small vanity lights.

I always find it hard to find things the lay out is somewhat confusing at times.

Small in size but big in variety of nice and quality decor items. Excellent customer service. Interior decorator on site gives very helpful advice choosing styles and colours.
