Customer service gives attitude when you call about being locked out of your house.
They act annoyed when you sincerely want to know the difference between what a 19$ job is and a 200$. That's not including the 30$ charge that comes with the locksmith coming to give you the estimate.
I didn't call to annoy you, I called cause I'm freezing outside of my house like a dork while you're in a cozy office chair.
It's bad enough I have to wait in the cold while my dogs are barking inside. I don't need sass added onto this situation.
At the end of the day the job gets done but indifferent customer service makes you ask yourself, "should I just break my window myself and not give these people 230$?"

Love this thing! I went to Home Depot first and it probably would've taken longer overall if I stayed. I don't have to worry about the kiosk chatting with other employees, making small talk with customers, or answering the phone. I would've given 5-stars if I didn't have to cut my key silencer off so it would fit in the machine.

I couldn't possibly recommend them more. Gene came out to change a lock and rekey two others in my first new home. He was incredibly professional and efficient, and even helped fix some sticking / poorly fitting door issues. Bonus: he even patiently explained what he was doing when I said I was interested in how things worked. Extra bonus: despite their top notch job, they charge less than other companies.

I got locked out of my car late at night, and when I called Gold Rush, they said it would cost about $50 (possibly more if the car is difficult to open) to get into my car. When the technician arrived, however, he informed me that it would cost $190. I wasn't in a good position to refuse, so I payed, but I called the next day and filed a complaint. I never heard back from them, and as I called back over the following days, I was put on indefinite hold and hung up on repeatedly. Look elsewhere for a locksmith with integrity.
