Last year, I was new to a role and had a huge undertaking ahead of me. I was to complete a complex and massive Christmas Mailout on behalf of our charity. I had met with a member of Innovative Response's staff and was assured that they would be able to assist me with my project. When I left their office, I had them secured in my mind as our agency. They would work on a quote for us and follow up. When the mailout was approaching, I had emailed multiple times and left voice messages only to receive a message saying that they were sorry to have wasted our time but could not assist us with our mailout. This was due to the fact that we had inquired about our office assisting with the mailout to keep our costs low. I completely understand their hesitations however, I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and in the end, to leave us stranded. But, some good came from all of this. We found an agency called Errington Integrated Marketing located in Burlington. They were willing to work with us to come up with viable solutions for our mailout. This year as I plan our christmas mailout again with ErringtonIM, I plan it with ease and without anxiety or worry because I know they have it covered. I'm sure Innovative Response Marketing is a decent agency but personally, I didn't have the best experience with them and I think they could've done more to assist us. ErringtonIM in Burlington is not that far from Mississauga...just sayin!
