Martial Arts

Great atmosphere and excellent, very experienced coach. Highly recommend.

Great beginner/beginner-intermediate capoeira group.

Honor, discipline and respect. Key elements of this dojo. Shidoshi TJ is a genuine person with a philosophy to pass on his extensive knowledge by only accepting donations. Shidoshi TJ has graciously opened his home and extensively converted his property to have dedicated training areas. From a zip line to throwing star targets and multiple Wing Chung dummies...just like Bruce Lee used! I genuinely enjoy bringing my son. Especially since parents are encouraged to participate.

I have been going to this school for a year studying gracie jiu jitsu. Michael and Martin are good instructors and go out of their way for their students. This place has been a good experience for me.

They are n longer in business

I have never trained in jujitsu or jkd before, dabbled in karate as most kids have. I've always wanted to take mma classes and did a extensive amount of research in finding which gym i would join. Battleground sports was the first and really only gym that featured the martial arts training i wish to master. Owner and head jujitsu instructor joao vieira, black belt under world champion Wellington "megaton" Dias is a brilliant instructor who keeps the traditions of jujitsu close at heart, while maintaining a delightful no bs attitude that will tune your game to perfection. An amazing excuse for me to take the 30 min drive to the gym each day was the incredible jeet kune do class, Bruce Lee's personally developed fighting style. Shahram Moosavi one of the very few people in the world to be certified senior full instructor by Paul Vunak with direct lineage to bruce lee. This gym will give you the absolute best overall stand up and ground game you need, with plenty of great sparring partners. I left after my 2 week trial that included my own gi for only $50, because of the trip to and from the gym but after trying a few gyms in my area i know i will be returning soon because the others aren't really doing the trick for me. I look forward to sparring with you soon!!

This is a great place to learn self discipline for both children and adults!
