Martial Arts

I love this place, and I hope everyone else sees that. This is were I met my boyfriend

Exelent with the kids and teach great Judo. If your looking for some place were your kid can fun and stay in shape this is it. Also, great parent teacher relations.

Great place for children to learn the true meaning of martial arts. This is not a belt factory; these young children need to learn, workhard, understand & demonstrate values, skills, & respect!! My family & I love the life lessons & teaching Mr. Hart is pouring into the hearts of these students!!

My family has been at FHMAA for 2 years now and it has become an integral part of our lives. For those parents concerned about bullying the school does a phenomenal job guiding your children to higher levels of self-esteem and confidence making it less likely for them to be bullied. Secondly, they have a tenacious focus on the pragmatics of self-defense. When all alternatives are exhausted your child will have gained the tools and knowledge to defend themselves. Also, FHMAA puts your children on a path towards learning & respecting an art that will benefit them throughout their lives. For children with special needs, FHMAA provides an engaging and supportive environment. Finally, for those parents looking for a little extra workout themselves, ask about the Combat Jujitsu class ;-)

Mr. Jacobs is top notch. He is great with children and is a wonderful teacher! My son loves attending his class.

I like Tampa Bay Soo Bahk Do because teaches my child discipline and respect.

Amazing experience and amazing people

Joined their class with my two daughters (6 and 9 yrs old). The class has promoted courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self discipline and indomitable spirit in our children. My wife and I are very pleased with Master Rafael Coutin and Master Sinai Ortega. Testing for a belt requires that the student not only has parental consent but a letter goes to the child's school, where the teacher has to sign off on behavior and academics prior to testing as well!!! This was impressive to us and we witnessed this positively affect the behavior of multiple students. There are plenty of events to stay busy as well as invitations to visit places such as Germany, Hawaii and more to expand your education in the arts. Grand Master Brunner has been practicing for 37 years and is a 7th Dan Black Belt. Although we do not study directly from him, the school we attend follows a set curriculum and we visit the other schools and have multi-school events. If you are interested in getting on the right track in regards to mental and physical fitness I highly recommend this, especially if you can make it a family function. Don't be shy, everyone is clueless when they first start and the entire family of friends who attends the school is happy to help you learn. I personally have lost 10 lbs, our youngest has gained significant focus and I can't express how pleased we are when it comes to the self-confidence gained by our oldest daughter. Thank you so much for the challenge, we look forward to each class.

My son has learned so much and has become much more respectful after the last few months in class.
