If you're even tempted to imagine yourself here, then definitely drop by to watch or try it hands-on! This is a biased review, because I am a member of the club. I joined in 2014, and although I was nervous and self-conscious at first, the teachers were very supportive. Since then, even though I still have so much to learn, I can see the gradual improvements in my stamina and discipline. The club is probably more on the casual/relaxed side, so the barrier to entry is very low for beginners!

Excellent dojo! The instructors are strong, patient, encouraging and have a very positive attitude. As a parent, I love seeing my 10 year old daughter challenged both physically and mentally. Listening, focusing, earning and reaching goals is promoted here and I think this is really valuable. I enrolled my daughter about a year ago for self defense and to strengthen her confidence through martial arts training but did not anticipate that she will be learning essential life lessons as well. We are so grateful that we found CRKF. My daughter and I love it and would highly recommend CRKF to others!

We felt welcomed at the very first minute and looking forward to learn and develop under wise and professional guidance of Kru Glen.For a novice and a seasoned fighter alike, Absolute Muay Thai Kai is an ideal place to train. Whatever your level of experience is, Kru Glen and his team make you feel welcome from the first minute you step inside. You feel like you belong and if you bring the desire to train, this is the best place in the province to learn. Traditional Muay Thai values, professional environment and just overall a place that keeps calling on you to return.

I use to go work out at the gym with no really results. After walking by Absolute Muay Thai, thought I would give it a try. I was greeted with a friendly guy (Glen) asked me to try if first for free. Now 6 months later and 50lbs lighter, I am glad I walked through Glen’s door. The price at Absolute is almost half of any other gym like it.… I love telling friends that I am being personally trained by a North American champion!

I started with a free lesson, and have been addicted ever since! The coaches and team members are supportive and have been absolutely ideal for a beginner, and offer new challenges to those more experienced (which in turn offers even more lessons to learn for everyone). The benefits of attending classes will be noticed immediately.

I am overly pleased and cannot thank the staff at OMAC Burlington enough. The changes they have made to their programs over the past year have been great. I enrolled my daughter just over a year ago and since then OMAC has grown and the instruction staff has become much more professional and level of teaching is always getting better. My daughter has come to love Taekwondo, her instructors and Masters they all have great knowledge and have taught her self confidence, discipline and given her emotional support. She is now competing in Sparring and Poomsae with Team OMAC and in the 2 tournaments she has competed in she has taken Gold in both times sparring and a gold/silver in Poomsae (patterns). Thank you to all the Instructors and Masters for the level of teaching and the attention to detail you give to all your students. I would recommend the Burlington location to any parent looking for a professional Taekwondo training centre or looking to get into competitive taekwondo.

Sensei Bob and his staff have created an effective and fun learning environment for the kids. My son is enjoying the classes and I see his skill level improving every month.

When I came to Marcio Nunes BJJ academy I was completely inexperienced in the art of Jiu-jitsu. I distinctly remember the first week and how quickly I came to not only respect the sport, but more importantly, Marcio. He is hard working, loyal and keen to see his students succeed. I've been at MNunes BJJ academy for just over a year now, and have learned a tremendous amount about who I am as a person. Perseverance and confidence that success will come in ways unexpected are two things I have come to learn and have transferred into my everyday life as senior high school student. So to any young adults interested in joining Jiu-jitsu, I strongly recommend this gym, as you will gain confidence in yourself and learn to carry a perspective that you will continue to benefit from even off the mats.
