From the moment I walked into Synergy Martial Arts, I was greeted with the utmost of professionalism and respect from the members and staff. There is a true sense of pride amongst the members and it shows in their dealings with one another and with John, the owner. I started taking classes recently and everybody I've met so far has been very friendly, welcoming and encouraging.

Dex and Peter instruct well and from no prior experience to over a year now, I have a well developed arsenal for sparring and training further.

I've been training at this dojo for over 6 years. Having visited multiple other dojos across North America (big and small), I can say that some of the finest aikido instructions are available here. Definitely recommend it to both beginners and advanced practitioners.

A great team! The clases are awesome, mi son enjoy a lot. The only bad thing it is the space, it is a little small.

This is the absolute Cadillac of Martial Arts gyms! They have great facilities, and offer a variety programs from Muay Thai to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, etc. Definitely try a class there - the staff, instructors, students and the overall atmosphere there will fascinate you!

A wonderful school with world-class training. I could take ask for a better instructor and training community. The lessons learned are invaluable and I whole heatedly recommend you to try a class.

I trained with Sensei Don Ritter for the better part of a decade, and when it came time for my young children to explore karate, there was no other choice in my mind than to send them to Don. The children’s program at Don Ritter’s Karate and Fitness has always been exemplary. There is always a balance of taking the time to explain things clearly with an assertive approach without being intimidating. Laughter and fun are balanced with discipline; merit-based progression balanced against teaching that difficult things are worth the hard work. The consistent outcome, in both the children that I watched when I was training, and in my own, is that his students learn resiliency, develop self-esteem, become more self-aware, respectful and determined. Don provides a fun, engaging and most importantly positive environment in which his students blossom, and I would not hesitate to recommend his studio for children of any age or ability level. Don is a world-class athlete, coach and teacher who can balance traditional Japanese martial discipline with modern teaching techniques in a way that really has a lasting and positive impact.
