Organized building, with 3 restrooms, two changing rooms ( one for each gender), and another area with cubby to put jackets/shoes/socks. Very clean with seating arrangement for families to watch. Looks like an actual rink!
Master Kaz is a wonderful instructor. His actions and attentiveness prove he lives and breathes what he teaches and he enjoys teaching the kids. My kids love him! He learned at a young age and has been teaching for years.. YouTube to watch his personal performances under "cat". Great sense of humor and tons of patience--I often wonder how he handles all the young kids! Private lessons are also offered, with weekend options.
There's an actual performance/show every few months and it is PACKED! Stop in to see when-and get your tickets!

This is a unique martial arts school offering two distinct styles - Tang Soo Do - the way of the hand and Haidong Gumdo - the way of the sword. Both are traditional Korean martial arts. It also has two training floors, a number of certified instructors and no annual contracts. Ask about their new student specials.

I can honestly give this organization 5 stars. I have been training in this dojo for about 5 years, and I have loved every minute of it. The teachers are amazing, and the students no less. You not only learn self-defense, but also learn about your body, learn discipline, get a good work out, and so much more.
Being a part of this dojo is an amazing experience, and I encourage all to join us. You won't regret it.
Tracy's Karate Studio
4715 Great Northern Blvd, North Olmsted, Ohio, 44070, United States
I have been going to a variety of Tracy's Karate studios for nearly 30 years, and have been going to this specific studio for the last 10. By far, the best martial arts school that I've attended! The owner/instructor John provides a variety of programs for all ages; exercise group classes, shoot-fighting, family lessons, kids 'little-dragons' group training, self-defense targeted programs, and individual private lessons. There is truly something for everyone here.
What I like about Tracy's Kenpo is that it is a very 'practical' style dealing with typical self defense situations that one may encounter. John teaches great self-discipline, works well with both adults AND kids, and makes martial arts a challenging, yet fun, activity.
Specifically, I attend the adult group cardio-kickboxing classes, and truly love the atmosphere. John sets the bar fairly high and it is a great workout. And since he has people of all ages and fitness levels, no one is expected to fully go to the max if they can't. But John is good at gauging each person's limit and will press you to work your hardest when he sees that you are not.
If you're looking for a challenging but fun workout and self-defense instruction, Tracy's Karate in North Olmsted is a great place to go.

105 S Main St, Rochester Hills, Michigan, 48307, United States
This place is awesome! our son is taking lessons from Mr. Roop and he is great with him, and such an informative guy, i even learn stuff about history while watching. Usually our son loses interest very quick but right after we leave he's asking when he's going back. definitely would recommend. as far as the other negative review, karate is physical and sometimes you need to be positioned correctly in order to learn correctly. i wouldn't even consider that review valid for a place that teaches karate.

I was very happy that an Aikido Dojo opened here in St. Clair Shores and i can say it was one of the best place to train. Bullying in school is a reality and you may never know it that your kid was already a victim at some point, since the kids are not telling the parents everything until they cant handle the pressure anymore. I enrolled my son to help him learn some skills to defend himself or his loved ones. The skills that each student learns stays with him or her for the rest of their lifetime, and though they may never use it, the self confidence they get knowing that they can defend themselves is priceless. Sensei Alex is a very good teacher, very qualified Martial Arts instructor, and the rates are very reasonable. - Richard Talaban
