I received dip by someone I could tell was new. She used the drill on me and applied way too much pressure immediately and it felt like she burned me. She eventually gave up on using the drill because she was constantly pressing way too hard. This picture is TWO DAYS after I got a dip manicure. I picked a color and I’ve gotten dip several times. No base coat layer of dip was applied. A layer of gel was applied instead. Then she dipped the color and instead of brushing excess off, they sprayed with acetone and wiped with a paper towel? Then placed under a light? Idk I could be wrong as I’m no professional but my nails came out absolutely awful and I’ve never seen that method before. I told the nail tech it looked awful and I had already spent an hour and a half there. It was a solid color, easy to do and it came out looking blotchy and almost a little like tie dye. After showing management, who didn’t seem to care, I left. Very frustrated, to say the least. They offered to do my nails the next day but honestly I decided I didn’t even want to go back. Total waste of my money and time. So so so disappointed

AO Nails & Lashes offers services for a really good value! I have been going here for my nails for around 6 months and have gotten my lashes done here for the first time recently. Their manicure services are little higher cost (at the time of this review, these services costed $45 for gel, around $50/$55 for gel X refill, and around $65 for full gel X application) than the place I used to go to, but they do a really good job. Pedicure and lash services are good too. Here are some other highlights: - They are always open late (until 10pm most nights). - They use Presto gel which is less toxic/smelly than normal gel and seems to last longer. - The inside is cute and clean, and I always feel comfortable and relaxed. - It is easy to schedule - the first time I scheduled an appointment I messaged them through Yelp, but after that we switched to text messaging. I now exclusively text them for scheduling. - I always see Grace for my nails. She is very attention-detailed and does nail art well. - They have a spin-the-wheel thing that yields discounts (e.g. $10 off gel polish at next visit) and "prizes" (I have received 2 boba plushies). They also provide you with cuticle oil and a callous removing thing if you want/need it. The only area for improvement I would say is I wish they had more nail colors (especially Presto nail colors). They have a good variety of colors, but sometimes they don't have the specific shade/color I want. However this is a relatively small issue and is one I am willing to work around.

Smells lovely, not too long of a wait, a little pricey, but not unreasonable. Everything's clean and nice, and the massage chairs are HEAVEN! 😍 employees are very polite and they take good care of you. Over all, well worth it. Would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful experience! My daughters took me to Hello Bella Nails for a pedicure and this will be my new go-to place! They have a wide range of colors and the staff are super friendly and attentive and it’s clean and bright. Ann did my gel pedicure (I have thin nails so it always has to be gel - I don’t mind paying extra to have them last 8 weeks) and her foot massage made me so relaxed I nearly fell asleep. My daughter had Ivy and her pedicure looks great too! Plenty of parking at lunch times on a Saturday. Oh and their massage chairs are amazing - I wanted to take it home with me.

i finally found an amazing nail salon since moving here. Mia is so gentle and i’ve never had a better experience. i will definitely be coming back here more often to get my nails done!!

After tons of Instagram/Internet searching, Blush Hour was the first place I went to when I moved to San Diego - and only, ever since. I've seen multiple nail artists and they all do a great job. I get Dip on my natural nails and they've always been careful not to drill too much. It's always very quick and easy to call/schedule and they've been super accommodating for last minute walk-ins as well. (Though I definitely recommend making an appointment!) Fair pricing and good environment! They require that tips be paid in cash but they have an ATM inside the salon if you need it!

Great service! Get my nails, facial and eyelash extensions done here, even had my eyebrows microbladed. Must say I love them. Reasonable prices. Kristen is always the best!!!

Not a fancy nail spa but they do a great job at nails and pedicure. The pedicure was very relaxing and the only thing that they can improve on his how they run the nail instrument ( I don’t know what to call it) gently on your nail bed. The nail aesthetician ran it over my nail bed and it did hurt and was lightly bleeding. Not a grave issue but one that should be addressed.

I had my nails done here yesterday and I'm really happy with my nails and the service! The lady there was truly friendly and professional and detail oriented. One con: They have a really small nail color collection, but I like the place, service and staff, so much that I'll definitely go back!!!

Lynn did my nails. Did a spa pedicure and full set w gel. Very friendly and does excellent work. Nina is dope w nail designs. Show her a pic of the design you want and she'll do it. She's a perfectionist and an artist. Cash only. I recommend making an appointment.

Cindy is the best for nails and Noon is the best for pedicures. The massage chairs are great. Prices are great as well. Definitely recommend.
