Nails

It's our go-to grocery store for sure. There are a few issues that make the store a bit difficult to enjoy. Firstly I find the staff that restocks the shelves are constantly getting in the way. They don't seem to understand that when they have a cart full of products that it's not the smartest thing to leave that cart right in the middle of the aisle. They also don't seem to understand that THEY need to get out of the way of the customer not the other way around. Frequently I have to dodge around them to make sure I don't get run over. There's an underlining sense of superiority with the staff that taints the whole feel of the store. Like I said, great store, but for a few issues. Self-checkouts are finally here!!! Yahoo!!!

All of the staff are accommodating, kind and great at what they do. They are our go to place for haircuts for the whole family.

I'm local so shop here regularly. Great staff, always friendly and helpful. Good selection for a smaller store. Now the negative, it's expensive, sale prices are the same as day to day prices at Walmart or other large grocery stores for many of their products.

Clean and organized. Has everything I need and the cashier was very nice 🙂

There's a ton to choose from in this store, but as with most places in Golden, I'm not sure the word "bargain" is a deserving word in the name. I found that the for products were close to the same pieces as the IGA across the street. The store was clean and well stocked but didn't get any acknowledgement from the staff the entire time I was there looking for a cleaning product - they seemed to avoid me as I tried to track them down. I guess I should have tried harder. Ended up buying a pack of gum - cashier didn't say two words to me at the checkout.

I can’t say enough good things about this place…if I could give 10 stars I would!! Was on a trip from Calgary to Vernon to visit my mother for her birthday. Started to hear a thump in wheels as I was driving. Luckily I was close to Golden and happened turn into this place. Even tho it was busy and a Friday afternoon, they were friendly, and didn’t make me feel like an annoyance. They went out of their way to order the part and get the repair done the next day..had to spend the night in Golden , and Tony even drove me to the hotel. Thanks so much to him and Mario and Shawn and everyone there…truly above and beyond.. Old fashion Customer Service we need more of this… They are truly great.. if you ever have car trouble anywhere near Golden this is the place to go

I came here the day before my wedding and I can honestly say I have never had a better manicure/pedicure! Marisa was so thorough and the polish lasted for over 3 weeks. Highly recommend!
