The optician was good and friendly but the after care service is appalling. I had to chase for over three weeks to find out when my lenses were ready and to get them fixed to my frames. They never bothered emailing or calling me. They also didn't seem to have an alternative plan for when the lens fixer was on holiday except for having my glasses posted away for several days (which I could not do as I need them for reading and work).

Great opticians - well equipped and a very friendly, personal service. Natalia and Marta are truly lovely and always keen to find the right solution for me, even if that means trying and returning different types of lenses and glasses. Highly recommended.

I have been ortho k client for 8 years with City Eyes. The reason, i have contacted them because i was not able to use a soft lenses anymore, my eyes were constantly irritated by them, and laser surgery felt too invasive. Exceptional team, I felt I have always been looked after, and they go extra mile with their services. Charles Babuma has helped me most of the time, and he has great knowledge when comes to eyes. Well advanced in technology. Highly recommended

The dr accurately diagnoised a cataract in one eye that local optomotrists repeatedly had not been able to locate or diagnoise. Cataract surgery followed and my sight is great. This was several years ago and I am forever grateful.

I love it when you have a perfect mixture of great sales people that don't try to push their product and actually help you decide the right choice. They took the time out to give me an honest opinion on what looks right for me. The frames are really great value, being handmade and customised to your face. You can choose the colour, style and material for each collection. I'll be making my purchase shortly!

I used these about 2.5 years ago for two years running, and whilst the quality of the eye test cannot be doubted, their monetisation of the findings leaves a lot to be desired. The first time I was led to the glasses, and told that whilst I could see fine, I should be getting headaches as my brain is processing more. I asked to take away the prescription to validate it. The second time I went there, I got the same results, and the very same response in terms of the hard sell. A year later I decided to step outside of the gold plated City of London just to confirm. I went to Lewisham, and they said "You've got a small prescription, but as you can see both close up and far away with no adverse effects, there is no need to wear glasses". That seemed like the sensible response I was after.

I cannot recommend highly enough, the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, very helpful and more than accommodating. Lovely range of glasses and speedy service is exactly what we need in the city.

I had a great experience here. The store itself is very clean, minimal and trendy. I can't judge the style or selection of the glasses as I only came in for an eye test, but I found that to be a really relaxed procedure. Luckily I was able to book an appointment right that day and had an informative 20 minute eye test with Bethany. She was really friendly and helpful, and though I found out I didn't need prescription glasses, she offered some recommendations on keeping my eyes healthy. Would definitely recommend. At £20 for the eye test, I felt like I got my money's worth out of it 👍🏽👍🏽

The service keeps getting so bad that I will not bother using Boots opticians Mare st ever again either for myself or family ! I had requested a copy of my prescription months ago . I was assured that it would posted to my address ..well thats yet to happen ! ( well the above is the latest disaster till date).Prior to that I had ordered a replacement pair of glasses for my daughter ..which for once arrived on time .I was advised to pick it up for my daughter only to be told upon the day of pick up that ..it hadnt been signed off by the optician so could not be released to me ! Staff are rude and incompetent and I doubt i will be using them in the future ...1 star is actually a credit that fails to rate the poor level of service I have received .Better fix up !

The counter staff seemed lovely but the optician i felt looked down on me. Not sure what the issue was ?? Won't be going back.

I recently chose my frames and had them fitted and glazed at Eyediology. Amazingly outstanding service and knowledge. It’s been several weeks since receiving the finished article and I am still very happy.

Good testing service but have been waiting 3 weeks for one pair of Bifocals & the other pair got returned after a day for crazing/cracks on the lenses. The basic reading glasses were 2 weeks to arrive. Thinks I'll pay the extra next time & do B**ts.

The highest standard of customer service, so rare and hard to find these days. Gorgeous glasses, I love my new purchase, highly recommend this place.

Small but good franchise, service is good and the range of glasses they have include very different styles and prices. I prefer it to the other opticians opposite the road

A professional, friendly and highly efficient service is provided by a caring optometrist Mr Bakhsh and his optometrist assistant Ms Mirza. I was advised to attend by my GP after suffering a series of eyes being out of focus. From my description of the symptoms, she thought I may have had a detached retina and advised me to see an optometrist immediately. Ms Mirza the assistant was very helpful and arranged an appointment for me immediately with Mr Bakhsh. He spent 2.5 hours inspecting examining. my eyes and came to the conclusion that my retina was not detached. He wrote a letter to my GP advising her of such. Throughout the examination he was professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He realised that I was concerned about my eyes and did his best to successfully put me at my ease.The after care from Ms Mirza was similarly of a high standard. She did the various measurements on my eyes with expertise and her approach was sympathetic and good humoured. Although not a pleasant experience both Mr Bakhsh and Ms Mirza did their best to put me at my ease and treated me with courtesy and consideration throughout. i shall definitely be using Infocus Optometrists as my optician. I don’t usually visit for yearly check ups. But I have been with this company for about 5 years now. I always get my lens and frames done by them. Usually takes only about 3-4 days. It’s actually quiet a busy business yet they manage it very well. The opticians who work there are really good. Because my father who also is a client, says they always do a good prescription for him. He tried elsewhere before infocus. But he always got headaches whenever he wore his glasses. But infocus have always given him the accurate prescription glasses. I do recommend this place.
