Painters

We have rented out our beautiful Victorian farmhouse in Pacifica, California for more than a decade, and have used an excellent management company for these leases. We were introduced to Prince Painting by the property management firm, and they have had repainted our interior multiple times. Prince supervisors are experienced, organized, and run an efficient operation. For our home, they have done interior repainting and touch-ups multiple times and we have found them to be on time, responsive to customer needs, and reasonably priced (not a common combination in the Bay Area!). The work is excellent quality and they reused some of the interior paint we had stored from a repainting several years ago; although I normally buy quality and wouldn't personally reuse paints, their expertise showed this was a good decision, and saved us hundreds of dollars. I would rate them 9/10, and enjoyed interacting with workers who were courteous, responsive, hard-working and have a LOT of experience, which shows both in the minimal spills and final quality of work. Not sure where any negative review came from, but not my family's experience. Try them out!!

Mark is an excellent painter, timely, easy to work with and very concerned that his work meets and simply exceeds the client's requests. Mark painted our home in rural Arroyo Grande, and we simply can not speak highly enough about the job that he did on our house. We are VERY happy, and everyone who sees Mark's work is impressed. I hired Ron Murray since he has been a respected painter in Almaden Valley. I wish I was giving him 5 stars instead of 1 and looking for another painter to fix the mess. The job required general painting. His painters started on May 3 and we came home on May 8 to find a mess...incomplete job, messy painting on door casings, paint drips on oak baseboards, paint chips everywhere in outdoor kitchen/living area. Ron said he would send Oscar to fix everything. Oscar did a good job. However the old world finish he was to do in hallway (copy previous job in entrance hall) was missing. Apparently Ron was angry at Oscar for not doing the job correctly and told him he had to make it right on his own dollar. Old world finish is an application using plaster not mud and it takes an expert. Oscar proceeded using mud, carelessly got wall paint on newly painted casings, on brass light switch covers (did not remove them), paint is pealing off casings. The worst mess I have ever seen by a "professional". Ron has never talked with me after repeated phone calls or visited the job to see what is going on. Oscar did not even have a vehicle to use. He was dumped at my house with a bunch of paint stuff and had to ask my husband on 2 occasions to take him to paint store. Very disappointed 😔
