Paving Contractors

Friendly people

My experience with them is not with the work itself, the final product seems to be pretty good. The problem I had was as a commuter through their construction zone on highway 5 in Kansas City, KS. They closed down the road in one direction for 25+ minutes as workers were starting to filter in. People are trying to get to work and 25 minutes is a long time to wait. When traffic was finally able to drive through the workers were all gathered on the side of the road in one spot smiling and waving, some laughing at the traffic as if saying ha ha we just ruined your day. Made it from where they had the stop sign to the end of the road work area and there was not a single worker around, no equipment being used or moved around, just a bunch of angry commuters. Like I said the work seems to be good but the management of the construction zone and the workers are pretty poor.

Very rude employees! I am remodeling a small building I own and I have installed traffic barriers because in the past semis and garbage trucks destroyed my parking lot. The workers parked their truck on the edge of my property and I asked them to move and one of the workers an older man in his 50's became very agitated and said he hoped whatever business that I was opening he hoped it would fail. I called the office to let a lady named Mary know that I didn't appreciate having to deal with their employees with the parking issue. No response from this company. My response was to move my barriers even closer to the street.
