My son has been at Goddard at Cinco Ranch for over 2 years now. We moved from another school in Katy with extreme turn over and no curriculum. Since starting Goddard, he has learned to write, read, do math, and follow instructions (all by the age of 4). Not to mention, we have had the same teacher for the past 2 years. Ms. Kali is so amazing and extremely patient with the kiddos! I know my son is ready for kindergarten this fall! We cannot thank Goddard enough!

We have had a wonderful time at Primrose NMC. Mrs. Cookie and her staff have provided an excellent educational and nurturing environment. My family lives in Firethorne, Katy, however, we travel all the way to NMC because of the quality care and education our children are guaranteed to receive at NMC. I would recommend this school to any parent looking for excellent early childhood learning and nurturing. It is indeed home away from home for my kids. AMAZING!!

The staff and teachers are exceptional. I am truly amazed with the knowledge my three year old has gained since enrolling at the school. The staff is caring and loving towards the children. I feel very confident placing my children in their care.

We have 2 kids (one graduated after spending 3 yrs in Goddard, last year) and the second still enrolled, with a year more to go. Our review is based on extensive research on pre-schools in Katy area and even trying out a few (just like most parents). THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PLACE TO PREPARE YOUR CHILD FOR KG, (in all respects); as well as for after school activities. We would unequivocally recommend Goddard over any other Katy area pre-school. The rationale: 1. The owners are passionate about kids and it shows: There have been numerous instances when the management has gone over and beyond for us, and also many other parents that we know – just because they passionate about kids. They have kids of their own and relate and respect the parent’s perspective. They select the best teachers who share similar values and it shows. 2. Kids come first and each kid is treated independently: Our first kid was a little apprehensive as he started pre-school (separation anxiety etc.) but the excellent teachers helped him overcome with immense patience. They treat each kid as individuals with unique needs, so much so that our elder still remembers each & every one of his teachers at Goddard (spanning over 4 years). 3. State of art facility: Our experience at the Katy 2 location has been extremely good – the safety measures in place as well as hygiene and cleanliness - is by far better than other comparable centers in the area. The recently added STEM /activity center next door is a great asset. 4. Records speak for themselves: Apart from high praises online and great word of mouth recommendations – the State mandated DFPS reports showed Goddard to be far better than other providers. The school has potential but I fear it is being squandered! The British school has amazing facilities but I fear that they are not being used effectively because though they let the children be free-thinkers, children do benefit from structure and repetition as this solidifies their knowledge. The lack of home-work (not asking for excessive amounts) ensures that parents never know how well their kids are actually doing. My children, who are 'gifted', seem to not be particularly blossoming in this school: subjects like Maths and English are not focused on with as much fervour as say arts for instance. My kids' spelling would have suffered as a result if I wasn't hands-on and providing after-school worksheets that have given them a competitive edge. I encourage others to do same or else you'll notice that your primary level kids might not be able to spell some simple words. I'm not sure what's going on with music either because unlike the kids' former school, where we were treated to multiple grade-specific performances showcasing improved violin and marimba skills, this school had 1 big performance for all grades that lasted the better part of an evening it was poorly organized and didn't achieve the desired effect unless the goal was exhaustion for all involved. Now to the teachers, I have to say that I haven't been blown away, as a matter of fact one of my kids' teachers did not make an effort to fully support my kid's academic potential and left a lot to be desired. To make matters worse, the school seems to close ranks around the teachers when a complaint is made however, they need to remember that it is the students (by way of parents) that spend a fortune to go here and not the other way around so they have to ensure that everyone gets their money's worth. Any complaint made to the school is not an affront to it but an indication that some things need to be corrected. Using simple analogy: children in the school are corrected all the time and the teachers fully expect them to take all corrections on board and that's exactly what I as a parent expect when I make a complaint, correction. I hope that the school has considered the complaints of some of the former and current families and has worked hard over the break to ensure a 'righting of ship', here's hoping...

Words can not express how much we LOVE Primrose School of Kelliwood! We currently have two children attending the school (2.5 years old and seven months), and both have been going since they were about 8 weeks old. From day one, we have been blow away by the amazing teachers, staff and directors. From daily communication about our children's progress and routine to being a sounding board for us to learn best ways to discipline, educate and talk to our kids - the teachers and staff have truly become an extension of the family that we really rely on for support and often guidance. It's obvious how much the teachers love and care about our children, their safety and education, and our children love them back just as much! I would (and have) recommend this school to any parent who is looking for a warm, happy, safe and trusting school for their child. You can't beat Primrose School of Kelliwood!

My daughter started preschool at Calvary last year. She is generally slow to warm up and takes her time with people. I was surprised at how quickly she adapted and looked forward to going to school. She could not wait to get back to school after the summer. As a parent I appreciate how much she has grown socially and how much she is learning academically. I also enjoy how open the school is and the many opportunities that parents have to plug in and get involved. This school has been an answer to our prayers.

Incredible school with the best teachers. Mrs. Meera in particular is like part of our family. I've sent all four of my children there over the past 10 years and would highly recommend the school to everyone I possibly could.

Excellent School! Our 4 year went to Ms. Elise's class and absolutely loved it! The school really facilitates meeting the needs of each individual student and helps them learn and grow at a pace and in an environment that is very conducive to early development. We absolutely recommend this program and Ms. Elise to anyone who is considering Montessori or any form of early childhood education and wants a nurturing environment to help them reach their potential.

Five star montesssori kingsland is a nurturing and friendly environment for children to learn and grow in. The office staff always has a smile on their face and are willing to help and address any concerns parents might have. All the teachers are very professional, caring and take genuine interest in the children and their development. Ms. Kennie who is a primary teacher at the school is wonderful. Every child in her class is so very fond of her and it shows in their actions. I also love how diverse the school population is. It teaches children to respect and learn about other cultures. They also offer a wide range of extra curricular activities at school which is very convenient for working busy parents wanting their kids enrolled in activities other than school..such as dance, soccer, art..etc. This school doesn't get enough credit and reviews for being one of the better montesssori schools in the Katy/ Houston area. Also make sure you notice that all the bad review are over 2 years ago. The director since then has changed and the owners are involved in the way the school functions and runs.

Absolutely love the school. Miss Stacy is a godsend. Miss Becca was very informative, answered every single question, and was very welcoming. My daughter is in the explorers program, She loves it. My daughter is always happy when I pick her up barely wants to leave. Her teacher Miss Rihanna has a genuine love for the children.

My grandaughter attends their afterschool program at this school and i have seen the positive impact this has been to her. The teachers and the environment are very welcoming. Although, she is already very outgoing she has made many friends and feels very comfortable and is always looking forward to spending her afternoons there. Because of the fun and learning activities that this school offers I have also seen improvement in my grandaughters reading, writing & people skills. I highly recommend this school to anyone that is looking for one on one interaction and an overall growing experience with their children.

I have 2 kids currently attending Holy Rosary Catholic School. I cannot say enough good about this school! The teachers are amazing, the staff is awesome, and the kids are wonderful. The positive teaching along with the smaller classes gives my children a school experience I am wiling to sacrifice for. My 3rd grader started out in public school in kinder and 1st, then I was blessed to find Holy Rosary. There is no comparison! Now both of my kids attend Holy Rosary and we plan to stay all the way through 8th grade. Not only are my kids challenged academically, but they are truly part of a family here. If you are considering private school please I urge you to visit Holy Rosary. You will not be disappointed!
