Private Schools

My 3 children attend, and we have been at the school for 5 years. We could not be happier. Academically, the students are challenged and are supported when they encounter difficulties. At the same time, the school celebrates kindness and other virtues.

DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY... To many red flags.. The staff was very nice when we were checking out the school. We payed the "None refundable" fees, and we returned with our child, we were kept waiting for our appointment due to the staff trying to get another couple to come to the school. Our child was bullied right in front of the staff by the other couples child nothing was said. RED FLAG #1.... # 2 was when they said that the children prepare snacks witch was fine until they said that the give the kids knives... 3 an 5 year old with knives... # 3 was that whey will send children out side rain or shine .....anything over 20 degrees.. SO NO I will not pay to have my child bullied.. she got enough of that the public schools. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL...

I am a student of Peabody for three years and I love this school. The negative comment is unwarranted because of the changes this school has made to accommodate the parents, students, and teachers. I have trouble in some courses and the teachers try their very best to help and I feel comfortable around them I believe Peabody encourages kindness, to be polite, and learning. I think Peabody is and will be for a long long time a great private school and I am honored that I have the luck and privilege to go there.

This school is an excellent opportunity for affordable private Christian education, excellent location. We are so impressed by not only the quality of education offered and the respect instilled in the students.

Great school ever I've found. Great teachers,small class , individual teaching, well behavior , tech Spanish reading, speaking and writing , they not only teach our kids but they teach well manner, how to keep clean. Encourage our kids... I am thankful to Ms merriatta.

My child went to school for a few months at this place. It was in her early years of school.The teacher was unbelievably hateful to small kids. Addressed by director at the time I still chose to remove my child.What God they know I want no part of. She is now on honor roll and on her way to be a promising citizen one day.

Wonderful school, it has been a blessing for my children and our family. I totally recommend this school if you are concerned about the spiritual growth of your children as well as their academics.

We are truly happy with "GEC". Our Son has been going to this Great School now from Pre-K and he is now in the 2nd Grade. Great Staff, and very dedicated in helping each student. We love this school really a lot, and hope maybe one day they will go pass the 5th grade maybe to the 8th grade. Again if you want a Great School for you child to be loved, and taught this is the school you need to have your child in. We love you GEC, Mr. & Mrs. Collins.

Went to school here from 5th - 12th grade and have worked here for the past 15 years. Portsmouth Christian School is an awesome school that feels like a family. They employee excellent teachers who truly love their students and do their best to help them succeed.
