Chico Christian Preschool

Horrible School since Mrs Landers was forced out. Enrollment has decreased by half, the middle school was closed, and the school is a mess. Thanks to the meddlesome "pastors" and the "board" at Neighborhood church, what was an excellent school and community just three years ago, has been destroyed. Sadly, what was done under a shroud of secrecy has ruined this place.
Saint Joseph the Worker School

Both of our kids attend this school, and we are super happy with the way they are both developing their learning skills. They are in kinder and TK, where the foundation for the next years to come is being set. We can absolutely see a difference in our children as students, and as human beings, since school started in August. It’s been 5 months and both of them are reading ( kinder and transisional kindergarten). The teachers are great, the homework is light and the office staff very easy to communicate with.
Religion is a big part of their everyday routine as expected.
It’s a fairly small school where you really get that family feel and everybody knows everybody. They have lots of clubs and sport teams for students to be part of.
They have recently upgraded their wi fi network and computer lab.
I would definitely recommend this school to my friends and family.

We really love sending our son to this school. The staff greets the students every morning by name with a hug or high five. Makes you feel like family. They are very helpful and caring people. Or son has always been very shy and being somewhere he feel comfortable means a lot. The teachers will even send picture updates if you need some reasurance :) He is learning so much. From reading, writing, math, plus he love apple Chapel
Kirk O' the Valley School
19620 Vanowen St, Los Angeles, California, 91335, United States
I looked at many schools in the area before I finally settled on Kirk. It was their creative, well-rounded approach to education that won me over. Kirk nurtures the individual, unique spirit in each child while providing a great education. I am pretty sure the teachers at Kirk have found a way to magically squeeze more hours into the school day! At the end of a busy week, when I talk to my son about what he did (reading, writing, math, science, engineering, computers, karate, yoga, basketball, library, music, art, cooking, and more) I can't believe how many wonderful experiences he has. The school also places an emphasis on developing character and citizenship. My son started with just a few hours a week at the Tot Center and loved it so much he went to Preschool 5 days. He is now in Kindergarten and asked me the other day "I am going to get to be at Kirk all the way to 5th grade, right?" Don't take my word for it. Take his.

I love Holy Family School! My child thrives here, does well in school, plays sports, participates in extracurricular activities with his friends from school. The parent community is incredibly supportive. Teachers and staff are helpful, accessible and knowledgeable. The Holy Family community continues to successfully prepare my child for the future.

I went to this school a long time ago but I felt the need to post this. The first year I went there was fantastic but the second year was honestly one of the worst experiences I can remember. I was in first grade and some of the things that happened still haunt me to this day I was humiliated time and time again and was not taught the things I should have been. I left first grade not knowing the The slightest idea how to read, thank God that my second grade teacher in a different state taught me how to read, the humiliation that I suffered still affects the way I handle things now , Like how I have a hard time asking for things because I was humiliated for the littlest things that little kids there. I will mitt that I made some good friends there but the rest of my experience here was god awful. I’ve been going to Christian Until now and I am happier than ever if you’re thinking of sending your kid to a Christian school don’t do it. I know if you’re Christian and you want your kid in a Christian buyer meant you want to send your kid to a Christian school right wrong they have been the worst please if you want your kid in the Christian environment homeschool them, Because a lot of the things that I’ve suffered from Christian schools still affect the way that I live, and I wasn’t physcly abused but I was Psychologically. I’m not telling you not to bring your kids here but I needed to get this off my chest. The only thing I gained from this school was a deep rooted fear of humiliation and honestly because of that experience and another experience I had another Christian school, it really shows me what I should feel about Christianity I have been given nothing but pain from Christianity. So think about what it means to be a Christian.
Westside Neighborhood School
5401 Beethoven St, Los Angeles, California, 90066, United States
We started our son at Westside Neighborhood School in DK when he was 5 years old and our experience has been enriching and positive from day 1. Our son's growth and enjoyment at school every day has made WNS an incredibly worthwhile decision. The curriculum is focused, well-considered, and cutting edge. And they are always looking for ways to stretch and grow and evolve and innovate. They are dedicated to maintaining a diverse community, faculty and staff which was extremely important for us when choosing a school. The children and parents treat each other with love and respect and it truly feels like a large family. This school demonstrates a commitment to excellence and represents everything we value for our son. We feel extremely fortunate to have found the perfect fit for our family at WNS.
