Girls talk to much

No other video game has unleashed my creativity like Minecraft. I've spent countless hours chipping away at blocks, gathering the necessary materials to complete the next masterpiece that would otherwise only occupy my mind's eye. I've also spent just as many hours exploring, spelunking and slashing my way through monsters with bravado. My character – my entire Minecraft world – constantly evolves into whatever I want it to be. I tell my own stories, I write my own destiny and I bring my fantasies to life one brick at a time. Did I mention that I have eyebrows on my feet?

Some of the students are ill-mannered and rude, but overall, it's a pretty good school.

My daughter has been going to Heritage Montessori School for last 1.5 years. Her progress, both academic and personal, has been phenomenal. This is an amazing program that helps Blind and visually impaired adults acieve independenence and their career goals whatever those goals might be. We work with each individual to learn what they need to learn in order to succeed at whatever they wich to accomplish. Personally I have learned so much and been able to overcome so many obsticles because of what I've learned here. Thank you F.B.C. :)

The director, Miss Katie, has a warm and welcoming vibe to her school, and we've been very happy with all the teachers we've had up to this point! Everyone is very communicative and friendly, and the school has fun events throughout the month like Parent's Night Out, holiday parties, and seasonal events. Last weekend they covered the parking lot with snow so our kiddos could experience what it feels like in the desert! We have been going to PCA for 2 years and our kiddo has loved all of his teachers. We highly recommend the director, Miss Katie and Phoenix Children's Academy Happy Valley!

We have struggled for years with our 9th grader and the special ed program at a local charter school. He's a bright kid...smart, curious, and eager to learn, and yet it's like something just wasn't clicking. He would spend hours on homework, still not complete it, and then still fail a test. We finally were able to place him in a private school due to a state scholarship program that provides funds when the public schools aren't meeting the needs. Faith was actually not our first choice...we didn't even know much about it. But when our first choice suddenly closed it's doors a month before school was supposed to start in 2014, we scrambled to find a new school. Faith not only accepted him with open arms, but within 2 weeks was giving us tools to help us figure out where the underlying problem was. As it turned out, our son is dyslexic but nobody at the public or charter schools ever even tested him for it, nor would they recognize it as a specific need after diagnosis. Through additional testing, we were able to learn the best ways for him to learn and were given a list of ideas and tools to better teach him. We met with Faith administration and teachers with these lists and they not only accepted them, but were almost excited to learn how to better teach our son. They have since even invited a leading dyslexia expert in our community to talk to all the teachers during an in-service day. The combination of classroom "tweaks", small class size, caring teachers and outside tutoring has not only caused our son to finally begin making progress with reading but has boosted his self esteem like we never expected. I have no doubt that the caring atmosphere created by the students and staff are one of the top contributors of our son's success. We moved our other two children there for the 2015 school year and could not be more grateful for this wonderful school!
