Terrible staff, tour was pretty much a sales pitch. Karen just tells you anything you want to hear and doesn't clearly discus their process, TERRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS WITH!!!! Do yourself a favor, save yourself some time and do not apply here! Five stars for worst experience for a new parent with a 2 year old.

St. Michael's Orthodox School
1545 Rose Ave, Santa Rosa, California, 95407, United States
St Michaels has been a Godsend for us. I find it far superior to the public and private schools our children experienced before. It delivers a first rate, caring education to each child. I know my children are viewed and treated as individuals there The care and attention which each student receives is truly unusual. Relationships between students (ranging from grades 1-8) are exemplary: bullying and teasing is not tolerated. The school families have unusually good relationships too. The curriculum is a blend of both traditional academic subjects, and individual attention usually associated with "alternative" schooling-- a combination of teaching styles that requires a great deal of skill and devotion from the teachers. There is a strong moral foundation, including daily chapel. Students don t need to be Orthodox (our family is not). We find the moral lessons learned to be some of the most valuable aspects. St Michaels seems a place set apart from the disturbing aspects of the modern world-- a feeling we did not have at other schools! I credit the extraordinary teachers for all these results, and recommend this school highly.

Wonderful! I had a chance to observe kids in the classroom. The teachers were very nice and friendly. They taught kids that the shells of the eggs could be dissolved by vinegar. That was very interesting . I love this school.

I go to Gavin Academy. You can access it from anywhere so I love it. I don't have to go to a school building and sit in a boring class all day.

I went to this Church last week and found a quiet but kind community.
The previous reviewer seems to be a little out of control. Who brings a dog to Church? And then let's it get out of their control?

This is a review for the soccer field, since we had a league game on it. The parking is sparse and the spots are tight. It's the bay area so it was expected. The field manager was a little uptight about letting people on the field early and thought of himself as gracious to open the gates a few minutes early. The field itself is well maintained but the lines are a bit confusing and caught the girls by surprise in the beginning. Lines in the back close to the bleachers cross at weird angles. Oddly, there is no net to catch balls that go over the low fence but only two went over so it wasn't that bad.

Noah's Ark Preschool is more like a daycare. The class sizes are large and if your child is up to common core standard for Pre K already they will be bored out of there mind which at this age is very dangerous. Very nice people and very safe environment, but if you are not careful your child can regress. Also, because of teacher burnout they have a high turnover.
When I visited on my days off and the pedigogy seemed to be let the kids construct their own play in several groups around the playground (fake grass is weird) which is healthy as long as social training is happening and that is not the case here. Many opportunities to squelch bully behavior go unattended to. It has taken a huge amount of work to undo the bad social and classroom behaviors my son learned at Noah's Ark. And for the record he was fine before....
