Private Schools

The tuition fee was extremely overpriced for a school that didn’t really give the money back to the community. It was supposed to be a “Christian” environment, but if you walked down the halls you would’ve heard the same dirty talk that you hear at public schools. Negative environment in the classrooms with kids getting bullied so much they leave the school. No real option choices for Junior Highs. The gym was pretty nice though, and most of the teachers were great. Just if you don’t want to fork over 400$ for “Christian” education, this isn’t the school for you or your children.

Victory Christian Center is a good Church, whether you are new in the area, or have the interest to go to Church. Victory Christian Center is a welcoming place with friendly people. Victory Christian Center also has a Daycare (Victory Academy Daycare), a Christian School (Victory Christian School), as well as a Bible College (Victory Bible College). Victory Christian Center also does many events to help people in the community, and various communities over Edmonton. The biggest being Back 2 School, and Christmas Day Feed the Hungry. They also have a Website with information about what they do. I highly Recommend this Church

I've known Tessa for a number of years, and she has watched my kids both in my home and hers. I don't use her as a 'regular' day home, as I have largely stayed at home with my own kids, but her home has been an occasional place for me to drop my littlest munchkins if I need time for an appointment or anything else. I don't live in Ardrossan, but taking my kids to her is worth the drive. Why? Because she genuinely cares about each child, she is organized, keeps them busy and happy, and her patience and discipline tactics are effective when managing these little ones. If I need childcare again, Tessa gets my call!

I am a Christian. My wife and I sat in the enrollment office expressing a desire for our son to be taught biblical truths in an academic setting. After a meeting with the enrollment office at this school, I have never felt so embarrassed of my fellow believers. My 5 year old child was refused admittance because my wife and I do not regularly visit a church (due to shift work and long trips abroad); and a pastoral reference from a previous church would not be recognized. Despite the fact that we share a kindred faith and the espousal of biblical beliefs we were told our application would be denied. What is the character of Christ? Is it self righteous? Does it make others feel unworthy? Christ's character is something completely different from what my family experienced today.
