Wetherby was founded by Mr and Mrs Gerald Russell in Wetherby Place, SW7 in 1951. It moved to Pembridge Square, W2 4ED in 1971 when it became part of Davies, Laing and Dick Educational Group with its own board of governors. In 2002, Wetherby became part of the Alpha Plus Educational Group. Wetherby School is divided between two sites. Little Wetherby and Reception are based at 19 Pembridge Villas and Years 1, 2 and 3 are based at 11 Pembridge Square. Wetherby School belongs to the Alpha Plus Group, who own a number of schools and colleges, mostly located in London. The Alpha Plus governors carry out the corporate governance responsibility for the school.

High turn over if staff. In four years my child has had 3 new teachers, ... needing to learn the ropes, making mistakes, not informing us of information needed. A bit fed up. Pastoral care is not very good, I would say nor is academic, seeing how most pupils did not get into there first follow on chosen schools. Sports is definitely pretty bad, go to a any sport match against another school. Having said that the new head is proving to be good.

A fantastic place with some of the most supportive teachers that enable you to achieve whatever you set out to do. Couldn't recommend it more to anyone looking at a sixth form college.

I love this school. And more importantly, my daughter loves this school. It is her ear to ear smile each day that confirms I made the right choice by sending her here. Her speech, vocabulary, confidence and willingness to empathise have all notably improved and increased since she started. The school offer inclusive Jujitsu, French, Drama and Music on top of the standard curriculum and still their fees remain competitive. It's a fabulous school which I highly recommend.

Kensington Prep is an independent day school in Fulham for girls aged 4-11. It opened in 1873, the first school to be established in the Girls’ Day School Trust. The school moved to Fulham in 1997 and is set in over an acre of grounds with netball and tennis courts and a pond for environmental studies and has some of the best facilities of any prep school in London. The school is non-denominational. There are 290 girls – aged 4 to 11 years - in 2 balanced parallel classes of about 20 girls. The school offers traditional values combined with innovative teaching and is at the forefront of IT. It has been awarded the prestigious ICT mark for the second time and there are iPad tablets and laptops in the classroom as well as a fully-equipped IT suite. The school has also just introduced a new digital learning platform and parent portal. There is a large library at the heart of the school, state-of-the-art science lab and dedicated specialist rooms for art, design technology, music and drama.

Redcliffe School is an excellent private school. Our 3 children have attended here for over 4 years now and they love it. If you are looking for a friendly, relaxed and happy environment in which to educate your kids, this is it.

The school was started in 1895 by Miss Lloyd and Miss Cornwall at 103A Fulham Road. At that point the school, known as the Cornwall and Lloyd School, shared premises with Dunn and Co the hatters and The Sports Motor Car Co. At some point between 1902 and 1918, the school moved to 5 Glendower Road and changed its name to Glendower School. After 2 years in Glendower Road, the school relocated once more, this time to 25 - 27 Cromwell Road. The school remained at this site from 1920 until 1939 when the Second World War forced an evacuation to Devon. Glendower moved into 87 Queen’s Gate in 1947 where it has remained with some extension and expansion until the present day.
