Chrysalis is more than a school to us, it’s an extended family that has created a place to build a stronger foundation for our own family. The ingredients for our positive growth have been striving to understand one another, reflective listening, willing to be vulnerable, doing hard work, and loving and accepting one another just as we are in the moment. Chrysalis staff have guided and embraced us in our struggles, our sadness and joys, developing relationships between our daughter and family we could only imagine when our Montana journey began.

We went there for my daughter's birthday. We did not book a birthday room but went for walk in.They were fantastic! Very knowledgeable and very helpful! It was great! Awesome selection. We will be going back again!

Teachers have a superiority complex

I flew and completed my flight training with Border City satellite set up in Cold Lake last year. They were great to work with, very accommodating. Happy customer!

To be honest, just completely disappointing as a school. The “gym” is incredibly small and dangerous (no padding on the wall). There is no parking space, a bus zone or a drop off zone so you have to park at the side of the streat. The building is really old overall (the gym, bathrooms and most of the top floors). The bathrooms are disgusting and are often filled with filth. The doors to the stalls are broken (some cannot even be locked), the stalls themselves are filthy and there is no toilet paper or soap. Oh and did I mention, the flushing system doesn’t work and sometimes overflows the stalls? The gym looks like it has been designed (and cleaned) before christ; the flooring is just a trochus (some tiles are placed incorrectly and can cause a tripping hazard) and the amount of dirt that’s in the gym always seems to amaze me. The teachers tell the students to wear indoor shoes in the gym, but nobody does that cause the gym is never waxed and the dirt could potentially ruin the grip of your shoes. There are also a bunch of nails in the wall. My shirt got stuck in one of them and ripped my gym shirt in half (it was an embarrassing experience but looking back at it, I’m lucky I didn't get tetanus from that rusty old nail.) The staff isn’t nice and most of the time mean, unhelpful and uninviting. The discipline system is really poor; whenever they have a student with discipline issues they give them a “yellow slip” (a slip of paper in which they have to write what they did wrong and the students parents are involved). I guess the idea was to intimidate the students from doing anything wrong but they were giving out so much yellow slips that none of the students cared whether they got one or not anymore. The discipline issue was so bad in my class that we weren't allowed to have recess anymore. Instead we went for a walk around the block. CAPE is a pathetic excuse for a school. If I had a son/daughter I would never send them there even if it was the only school in Medicine Hat.

Best school ever teachers are amazing and so supportive couldn't ask for a better place to send my children definitely blessed and I highly recommend this school
