Private Schools

A great school based on a thoughtful and well developed philosophy of children's innate desire to learn. Children learn social and academic skills, and self regulation. All the teachers and aids are enthusiastic. Their warmth and genuine care for their students is obvious. I highly recommend it.

I am so pleased with the choice of LHCS for our boys - Grade 1 and Part-time JK. The programs chosen to meet the curriculum expectations have been thoughtfully selected and consider a variety of learning styles. The teaching and administrative staff are welcoming, approachable and they have the students best interests at heart! Part -Time JK/SK provides a wonderful introduction to school and a lovely home/school balance for our youngest son. The proof for my review - it's almost March and both boys bounce out the door each morning excited for their school days with little to no grumbling or complaining. This tells me that LHCS is a place where my boys feel loved, safe and comfortable. Ultimately, a school where they can thrive.

The Chinese Alliance Church has had events for a rally in this location. It is a very nice area for children.

Очень приятно поговорить, узнал всё что нужно что бы начать подбор школы для ребенка. Профессионалов видно сразу.

As a pupil at Westminster I really like the school. Great atmosphere as well as brilliant teaching

My child was treated badly in the assessment. Also, they did not give us the decision.

Charterhouse Square School is founded by original headmistress Jamie Mason with school fees set at £425 per term! Over the course of the next two decades we go on to gain a reputation for all-round academic performance. In March the school becomes part of Cognita – a worldwide group of schools founded by Sir Chris Woodhead, former head of Ofsted. In December Caroline Lloyd takes over as headmistress fifteen years after first joining the school. When space becomes available in an adjacent building, the school expands to occupy a total of seven floors in our much-coveted Barbican location. This allows the school to add a dedicated Early Years area, a school library and an art room. n further work to improve the school site, the entire basement and ground floor of number 40 is completely remodelled. The addition of bi-folding glass doors to link our Green Room to its outdoor sand and water area is a particular hit with the children. Charterhouse Square School celebrates its 30-year anniversary with a surprise party for the children and a ball for parents, teachers and friends of the school. The school is also featured in The Good Schools Guide for the first time.

Dream school

A great school that both teaches the children and develops them as individuals My daughter (aged 7) loves every minute

Brilliant

love this school so much very inspirational, excellent ethos and great teachers!

A fantastic place with some of the most supportive teachers that enable you to achieve whatever you set out to do. Couldn't recommend it more to anyone looking at a sixth form college.

Wetherby was founded by Mr and Mrs Gerald Russell in Wetherby Place, SW7 in 1951. It moved to Pembridge Square, W2 4ED in 1971 when it became part of Davies, Laing and Dick Educational Group with its own board of governors. In 2002, Wetherby became part of the Alpha Plus Educational Group. Wetherby School is divided between two sites. Little Wetherby and Reception are based at 19 Pembridge Villas and Years 1, 2 and 3 are based at 11 Pembridge Square. Wetherby School belongs to the Alpha Plus Group, who own a number of schools and colleges, mostly located in London. The Alpha Plus governors carry out the corporate governance responsibility for the school.

Both my son and my daughter have been very happy there. I am aware of a small number of problems in the 1970's but that is a very long time ago !
