The best Korean and Japanese food in town for more than the right price. With the service of some domestic, and reg alcohol as well as soda drinks available. It's the place to go to fuel up, hang out, have a party on the night out on the town . To beat the heat , come on in and have a cold one. Get to know the owner ( Luke ) , and his awesome side kick Paul, and staff. We strive to set the difference with a great experience. We both enjoyed our lunch immensely. The service was exquisite and the decor really made this small restaurant memorable. Thai food is a favourite and U&I can hold it's own with some of the more expensive bigger city places. I would happily return.

Yummy food from a red seal chef in the culinary arts, great friendly staff who will make you laugh(or smile). A laid back homey decor with slight rustic elegance. Family owned and operated and service with a smile.

Cool little place. Not too many things in the pastry case, but rather just enough to peak your interest. The espresso is spot on.

The staff is friendly. Pretty tasty. Had fallafels , they where good. The chicken donair meal is good. If you like middle eastern food then go try it.

In the heart of downtown. The service and food of this place lives up to it's promise of it's cool cental location and great neon sign. Spent a weekend in Nanaimo and ate here for breakfast on a Sunday because we ate here the day before and wanted to come back. They make their own jam and it is served with breakfast and it is so delicious!

Fish cake, striploin and clams. Very good. Dessert, we had the creme brulee and apple cheesecake.

Decent food. Nice location. Funky inyrrior. Beautiful colors everywhere.

I MUST HAVE BEEN CHANNELING MY INNER TRUMP! Still awaiting an apology... We read your response. It is utter twaddle! Do not hesitate to contact us, after nearly ten years of patronizing your business to apologize to us in person if you ever find the courage, Marc! Your company sending us the wrong pizza order and me politely asking if we could have our regular order this time, when I called this afternoon, does not warrant you screaming abuse at me. Yes, the last time we had a pizza was three weeks ago...and your point? I did not care for the last pizza as much and told you so, politely. Did I ask not for my money back or a free pizza yesterday afternoon! Hurling invective and calling us drunks because I did not like the last pizza as much, is a case for anger management classes, Marc. My Partner recently had throat cancer so his voice is not as strong as it once was. I have a British accent which you said you were having trouble understanding. Because I was unable to calm you down, I put my partner on the telephone. Further, to wait twenty minutes and then for you call my house again and scream down the telephone that among other things,I was an old C..T, before hanging up is bizarre behavior. Possibly you need to be placed in the skilled hands of a Medical Professional. To talk to anyone in this fashion is completely unacceptable. To talk to a woman who is possibly many years your senior is disgraceful. We have never, ever complained about your pizza. We have purchased from you for over 8 years? Further, we have constantly recommended your establishment to friends. We have always been polite to your staff and tipped your Drivers well. You are an abusive bully. Neither of us at any time threatened you, Marc. I did ask for your surname because I simply could not believe that you were the Owner. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR BUSINESS TO ANYONE EVER AGAIN.

Good spaghetti. I don't care if the place wasn't in-fashion or the waitress didn't put on an absolute performance trying to make feel at home. The food is good and that's all i care

Very disappointing experience. 1) Overpriced, 2) servers should have their hair up in a bun... my mother in law had to move her water to dodge our server’s long pony tail 3) food was bland the only thing that was seasoned was my mother in laws double dunked double salted fries which were inedible (shocking for a 20 dollar meal). 4) the sharp bone still attached to my chicken breast for no reason. 5) the hockey puck overcooked bread they served us before the meal. 6) overcooked 37 dollar steak. By the way those poor servers have to share their tips with the kitchen.
