Soccer

Great soccer field, with some very lively teams playing almost every day or night during the season. This field is so green and lush, it has been babied by the Club who owns the parcel of land that this field happily finds itelf laid out upon ... It is forever being kept up by the staff who have been contracted in to do the work. Before we had our first snow fall here in London - ( in the east end), they were basically rushing to prepare for the wintery weather - filling in any divets / sunken in soil areas and then fertilizing for the last time, even mowing the lawn before doing all of what I had written just before. It definitely must be a pleasure to be able to play and practice on a field that is so smooth, level, and paid attention too. It must command some nice rental / seasonal arrangements in contractual monies for The Marconi Club in general. It is a joy for any player who comes and utilizes this field for whatever sporting event may it being used for, yet it is mainly a soccer field! ... Was there for a banquet and everyone at our table of 9 people found the food excellent...freshly made pasta for our lasgna, roast beef was fork tender and the chicken was tasty. The evening was alot of fun, congratulations to the staff at the Marconi Club!!

It has great baseball field's and splash pad

Great place to play soccer. I wish they would spend more time on actual training and instruction but it's still a good time filler and get the kids out of the house for exercise

Our event here was a success. They were a little short on staff and the air conditioning wasn’t working at its best. The food however was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

Grest ground, very well kept, with a nice even playing field, there is a huge reduction in twisted ankles and other associated injuries that one can get caught up in by playing on a uneven, pock marked fields, where not a soul os looking after it in even the slightest degree ... horribly kept pitches which lead to unnessecary injuries, wouldn't even be recommended by non-players who just wallk across the field to get from one side of the park to the other. When players of the game already have to worry about some serious injuries by just being in the game, it can really allow both teams to play to their fullest potential as they do not have worry where the field may sink in by a half foot then raise up by a foot, plus have small divets as well as large. On a field like this, which is kept in immaculate condition all through-out the Football / Soccer season, it makes for great games and less players injured, having to sit out a few games to recouperate sucks, they are already playing games which are high on the injury list in the first place, the last thing they need is to be playing on an unsafe, uneven surface, no one on either team wants to be sitting out because of an injury that was not necessary, and can be directly related back to the pitch ... When players play on fields that are uneven, full of divets, and pock marks, it makes for a game that came become heated between the contending teams, a team player catches the ball and makes a run for the end zone, but 10 yards to go and he / she is stopped dead in their tracks because of what I have mentioned above. Those moments hurt just as much as the injurious effects that mow are going tonpage possibly a star player. On either side.

Could really use some more regular maintenance and cutting off the grass

This park is high. It has a great jungle gym area and a great splash pad. We frequent often and make the drive from the whiteoaks area just to have some fun in the sun. My daughter asks for this park by name so I'm sure we'll be going more and more often. It does seem to get pretty busy during summer days so if you don't like crowds maybe try another area.

Soccer players at East London Soccer, St. Julien Park!!! Used needles were found by the trees near the gravel parking lot!!! So many kids and siblings play near there...BE CAREFUL with your littles, know where they are and what they're doing!!! Everly was very close to them when we noticed and a couple didn't have caps on!! The convener was amazing took pictures and called right away to have them cleaned up but it will more then likely keep happening!!!!!

Small-ish room ideal for club meetings, social events, etc.

The new expansion is great! Warmer temperature than the original building and great artificial turf.

This store has not revealed it's current phone number in months!!!! My elderly mother is receiving daily phone calls on the listed number which was assigned to her almost 3 months ago.. What kind of company leaves an incorrect phone number on 35+ sites with Google???? Doesn't he want to receive more business? What kind of business practices are these? I am very disappointed in any business owner that shows so little courtesy. Big thumbs down to this individual. CHANGE THE INCORRECT PHONE LISTING ON YOUR SITE SOCCER GEEK!!!!
