My mother died recently, and because I had appreciated their work in the community, my family chose Dana L Sweeny Funeral Home to take care of her. Actually, they took care of us, most of all. Funeral director Mike T. guided us through what needed to happen and took care of details regarding the transportation of her body, the cremation and all the necessary paperwork, while supporting us as we planned the memorial evening and prepared the obituary. He and the rest of the staff listened to us, respected our desire for simplicity and a slightly unorthodox approach to a memorial, and took care of our whole family through the understandably stressful 10 days that followed her death. We will never forget their genuine kindness coupled with their complete professionalism at a time of great grief and confusion.

Fantastic museum to learn more about the Bluenose, you know the sail boat on our $0.10. A great lesson of courage and tenacity. If you're in Lunenburg, you have to spare 2 hours to visit this museum.

Musical theatre depicting historical stories and folk stories of Lunenburg in a really fun way. Educational and hilarious! I had no idea what I was getting myself into and I'm usually not a musical fan, but I was extremely entertained! Huge range of people in the audience, from 5 to 101 years old! Doors open at 6.30. Arrive asap after that you ensure you get a seat as it's hugely popular. Donation of $10 per adult encouraged.

We learned a great deal here about the struggles of the Acadian people and how hard working these people were/are. The movie allowed us to step back in time and feel like we were seeing the injustices done to these hearty people through their eyes. A great learning experience for all ages. Let us not forget what has happened before us.

Saw both plays this summer!!!! Enjoyed them very much but was very disappointed the Hook liner and Sinner did not have the actress from the first 2 plays!!!😞She is the reason I wanted to see the last play!!!
